We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join this leading Manufacturer based in Stoke on Trent. 

This is a shift based role where you will be joining a large maintenance team to investigate, diagnose and rectify faults on highly automated plant machinery and equipment.
 
The Role:

In the role of Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be joining the Engineering team to provide effective reactive engineering support to plant and equipment within an automated manufacturing environment. 

You will also conduct planned and preventative maintenance (PPM) including implementing and developing new processes to resolve maintenance faults, repeat issues and inefficiencies in a continuous improvement.

You will be working rotating shifts 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm / Nights. 

The Requirements:

To be considered for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer position you will ideally be Apprentice trained and will need to hold a relevant Electrical Engineering qualification such as City & Guilds/ONC/NVQ3 or equivalent. 

You must also be able to demonstrate experience of undertaking reactive and preventative maintenance in electrical disciplines such as fault finding, testing, parts replacement and hold experience with PLCs. 

I would be keen to speak with Maintenance Electricians, Electrical Engineers, and Multiskilled Engineers with strong Electrical abilities who hold Industrial Maintenance experience.

Role Description

  • Working as part of a team, you will be providing both Reactive & Planned Preventative Maintenance
  • Maintaining a variety of Heavy Industry Equipment including furnaces.

  • This position is a Day time role working 40 hr week Monday – Friday with a 7am start

You will be undertaking reactive and breakdown maintenance on automated machinery and will be working on a 3 shift rota covering AMs/PMs + Nights  (Monday to Friday).

You will be joining an existing Maintenance Team and will be following a DAYS 4on/4off shift pattern over a 7 day rota working 12 hour shifts 6am – 6pm. You will also be required to take part in an out of hours oncall rota following your probation period. Additional payments will apply for this should you be called out.

To be considered for the Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer position you will ideally be Apprentice trained and will hold a relevant Electrical Engineering Qualification such as City and Guilds or NVQ level 3.
