I have a great opportunity for an electrically bias maintenance engineer to join a well-known manufacturing company based in the Shropshire area. My client has multiple UK sites and operates throughout Europe.

Maintenance Engineer Role Benefits:
Salary £33,000 (negotiable DOE).

Maintenance Engineer Duties:
To carry out PPM and fault finding on machinery.
Working with electrical and mechanical systems
Attend machine break downs and efficiently deal with failures. Including Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics & Pneumatics.
Demonstrate a range of engineering techniques in to repair and maintain machinery to operational standards.
Regularly liaise with other departments regarding maintenance issues.
Service plant equipment.
Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
Electrical and Mechanical experience (5 years preferred).
Experience in a manufacturing environment (5 years preferred)
Must have PLC experience and the ability to use associated tools for integration of the software.
Must hold a qualification in Electrical Engineering. (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, HNC and 17th or 18th Edition).
Ability to read electrical and engineering drawings.
Knowledge of working with AC & DC CCT’s, single & 3 phase systems and inverter drives.
Experience working with robots.
