An independent sub-contract machine shop in the Nottinghamshire is looking to recruit a CNC programmer – turning. This client’s work includes small batch work, one offs on various small to medium components from aerospace to automotive.

Role and responsibilities for this CNC programmers role:
Programming, Setting & Operating CNC machines
Small to medium batch work Working to typical tolerances of +/- .001" (0.025mm) and occasional tolerances of +/- .0005" (0.0125 mm)
You will be part of a great team, working within a modern and clean environment, producing high precision parts and components for aerospace and automotive industries
The nature of the work is small to medium batch with medium to high complexity
You will be machining to a very high standard
Knowledge/ Experience Required for this CNC programmers role
Working on a Doosan Puma 2600 lathe using Fanuc controls
Mainly online programming for small batch work
Experience within a manufacturing environment.
Apprentice trained with at least 5 years’ experience

Hours and salary for this CNC programmers role:
Monday to Friday - working from 7.30 am to 4pm (30 mins for lunch)
Flexible working is available
Standard rate - £15 per hour
Overtime payable at x 1.5 hourly rate (days)
