As an internal Sales Engineer you will be tasked with providing customers information on automation technology, water treatment, chemical systems plants and electronic sensors.
DUTIES:
To be the first point of contact for technical support for our customers
Proactively cross-selling and adding additional value to all sales opportunities in combination with solving customer applications
Provide technical solutions and create clear accurate quotations resulting from the customer enquiries
As the Internal Sales Engineer you will take ownership of complaints, returns and other issues affecting customer satisfaction
Support the sales and marketing team with customer site surveys, presentations exhibitions and seminars
REQUIREMENTS:
Educated to technical degree level, or equivalent relevant industry qualification
Work experience in the process industries or with instrumentation is advantageous but not essential, as is commercial sales experience
Ability to multitask and work under pressure and the capacity to work as a member of a team and as an individual
Comfortable with a consultative selling approach with questioning technique
Have a strong Technical background in either sales or engineering

DUTIES:

Creating, negotiating, and closing profitable new business deals and commercial agreements at most senior levels

Training
The Electrical Service / Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for the following and will hold the following experience:
Carry out any requests for service, calibration, commissioning and client training in the UK and worldwide from management, service department manager, sales, projects and technical department
Assist the company to fulfill all contract requirements relating to existing customers with service contracts and future customers
Provide rapid response quotations for spares (as required) and any remedial or extra service work relating to site visits and health checks.
