I am looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a leading manufacturer in their industry. The role of Maintenance Engineer will be to manage the maintenance and improve all fixed plant and facilities; assist in the preventative maintenance to ensure maximum availability, performance, and quality. This is an outstanding opportunity to work for a highly protected multi– million-pound organisation.
The shifts are 4 on 4 off 12 hour rotating days and nights 7-7:
20 days holiday at 12 hours which is very competitive.
Overtime paid at premium rates
Along with an NVQ Level 3/ ONC/ City & Guilds in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, the ideal Maintenance Engineer must come from a manufacturing environment.
The Maintenance Engineer role will include the following:
To maintain the plant to produce product at world class levels of performance, quality, and cost
To maintain the plant through breakdown repair and preventative maintenance tasks.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives on site to help improve the OEE of the plants.

Design Engineer Hours and Benefits
£25,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience

Design Engineer Role Function
The Design Engineer will be producing high quality production drawings for both in-house and sub-contract manufacture, as well as updating and improving current designs for existing equipment
The role includes liaison with the company’s sales team and customer base to finalise specifications
The Design Engineer will have a 3D design proficiency, Solidworks experience is essential
You will ideally have proven experience within one of the following; material handling industry, machinery design, conveyor design or food processing equipment design, although other industries will be considered
Previous Design Engineer experience would be highly advantageous
A keen eye for detail
An awareness of manufacturing implications and costs
Excellent communication skills
