The Maintenance Electrician role is commutable from the following locations:  Harrogate, York, Middlesbrough, Ripon, Kilburn, Lower Dunsforth ~

Shift in place for the Maintenance Electrician:  

  • Mornings: 6am till 15:30pm – Monday to Friday 
  • Lates: 9:30am till 8pm Monday to Thursday & Friday 9:30am till 3pm. 

Key Responsibilities the Maintenance Electrician:   

  • To work as part of the Maintenance team as an electrical focused engineer with some multi-skilled experience. The position will be responsible for providing electrical expertise, carrying out repairs on plant equipment in a timely and efficient manner and ensuring equipment is safe and fit for purpose. 
  • To provide Electrical support to the maintenance department in order to carry out repairs on all plant equipment. 
  • Ensure all machinery and equipment on site is both electrically and mechanically safe. 
  • Carry out other support maintenance work when required. 
  • Strong faults find abilities with PLC’s – Siemens S7 & Allen Bradley. 
  • Carrying out repairs on the following Kit: Pumps / Conveyor systems / Gearboxes / Hydraulics & Pneumatics.
  • Ideally holding experience within Chemical or Heavy engineering. 
  • We are looking for an Apprentice trained Maintenance engineer. 
  • Holding a formal qualification in Electrical engineering. 
  • Flexibility is key – a Motivated individual who is keen to take on over time.
