I am currently working with a Worcestershire based organisation that is a leading player in the manufacturing sector, they are seeking to recruit proven “Hands On” Maintenance Supervisor to lead and develop its team and maintenance strategy.

Duties of a Maintenance Supervisor:

You will be required to lead the team providing “hands on” technical support whilst also developing the use of preventative maintenance strategies and a continuous improvement ethos.

Requirements of a Maintenance Supervisor:

The position of Maintenance Supervisor will require you to have a proven track record in developing maintenance structures, where your individual input into the business has seen improvements in plant reliability, production volume, staff retention and overall profitability. 

It is essential that you have supported a team of Maintenance Engineers as either a Supervisor or Manager, within an electronic assembly, food processing, paint plant or clean room type environment.

Preference is given to candidates that have a have climbed the ranks of Maintenance from an Apprentice level.   

The role is commutable from Worcester, Redditch, Bromsgrove & Evesham

Maintenance Engineer Role Description

  • In this role you will be responsible for both Reactive & Planned Preventative Maintenance within this automated packaging and distribution facility.
  • Maintaining a variety of automated warehouse machinery and equipment across the site.
  • This is a new position due to significant growth and investment and will be an integral role to ensure minimal downtime and reduced engineering costs.

Maintenance Engineer Skills and Qualifications

  • Successful candidates will ideally hold a timeserved Apprenticeship and will have strong mechanical engineering aptitude, supported by qualifications. Electrical abilities would also be of benefit, but not essential.
  • I would be keen to hear from Mechanically biased or Multiskilled Engineers who have experience supporting high volume warehousing systems, and ideally have worked within packaging / mailing machinery and equipment.
  • If you hold good communication skills, are flexible, able to work independently, and are keen to contribute to the development plans of this growing organisation then we would love to hear from you!

Crane Service Engineer Role Description

  • In this role you will be carrying out Installation, refurbishment, service and repair of Cranes, Hoists and Lifting equipment at client sites in the Midlands and surrounding area.
  • You will be undertaking Crane and Gantry installation, inspection, testing and commissioning and Jib Crane installation, inspection, testing and commissioning.
  • You will also undertake Planned Preventative Maintenance and identify potential mechanical and electrical faults, and attend emergency breakdowns when required.
  • This is an additional role to join an expanding team.

Crane Service Engineer Skills and Qualifications

  • Successful candidates will hold experience with Overhead Electric Travelling Cranes, and industrial Electrical experience supported by qualifications such as NVQ L3 or above.
  • I would be keen to hear from Crane Engineers, Crane Technicians, Crane Maintenance Electricians, or Field Service Engineers who have experience with Overhead Cranes.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Automotive Electrician to join a growing organisation at an exciting period of expansion.

You will be installing electrical systems on heavy vehicles at this successful manufacturer based in Droitwich.

Duties of the Automotive Electrician:

  • In the role of Automotive Electrician you will be responsible for the electrical fitting/testing/fault finding on new vehicles.
  • You will also be fault finding on used vehicles and assist with hydraulics / pneumatic fitting. 
  • This is a DAYS based role working Monday to Friday with a lunch time finish on Friday. There is also regular overtime available.

Requirements of the Automotive Electrician:

  • To be successful in this Auto Electrician position you will need to be time served and hold experience within automotive/ commercial vehicle electrics.

You will be working on a range of fabrications at this successful manufacturer based in Droitwich.

Fabricator/Welder Role Benefits:

Fabricator/Welder Role Description

  • As part of the Fabrications team, we have opportunities for MIG fabricators (medium, light, and heavy), Sheet Metal Fabricators, and Aluminium Fabricators. 
  • You will be carrying out fabrications on a range of heavy commercial vehicles.
  • You will be joining an existing team working Days Monday – Friday, with a lunch time finish on Friday. There is also regular overtime available.

Fabricator/Welder Skills and Qualifications

  • To be considered for this position you will need to be able to demonstrate experience of either MIG and / or TIG Fabrication with Aluminium, or heavy and medium grade steel, and/or sheet metal. 
  • You will ideally hold experience of plasma cutting, oxy acetylene cutting manual press break operation, hand tools (grinders and drills) and have a minimum of 2 years industry experience.  
  • You will also need to be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and be a good team player.
