Job Description

This is an opportunity for you to join a highly successful Manufacturing business based in Droitwich as a Plastic Injection Moulding Setter. Working Days or AM/PM – Monday to Friday within a well established company. Long-term prospects look fantastic, and you will be joining a growing friendly team

In exchange for their expertise the Moulding Setter will receive:

  • A Competitive rate of £12.69 per hour + shift premium depending on hours.
  • Working Days Mon – Fri OR rotating Double Day shifts 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm Mon – Fri

Key Roles & Responsibilities for the Moulding Setter:

  • Setting and changing of mould tools on moulding machines
  • Adjusting machine settings and carrying out process monitoring checks
  • Analyse and implement process improvement solutions
  • Basic programming of robots and de-gaters
  • Carry out quality checks (1st and last off samples)

Skills & experience required for the Moulding Setter:

  • Successful candidates will ideally have worked previously with injection mould tools or within plastics, and will have some knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Crane Service Engineer Role Description

  • In this role you will be carrying out Installation, refurbishment, service and repair of Cranes, Hoists and Lifting equipment at client sites in the Midlands and surrounding area.
  • You will be undertaking Crane and Gantry installation, inspection, testing and commissioning and Jib Crane installation, inspection, testing and commissioning.
  • You will also undertake Planned Preventative Maintenance and identify potential mechanical and electrical faults, and attend emergency breakdowns when required.
  • This is an additional role to join an expanding team.

Crane Service Engineer Skills and Qualifications

  • Successful candidates will hold experience with Overhead Electric Travelling Cranes, and industrial Electrical experience supported by qualifications such as NVQ L3 or above.
  • I would be keen to hear from Crane Engineers, Crane Technicians, Crane Maintenance Electricians, or Field Service Engineers who have experience with Overhead Cranes.

Requirements of a Reliability Centred Maintenance Manager 

  • Ideally you will have climbed the maintenance ladder but must have a proven background in critiquing data that relates to OEE, MTBF & MTTR.
  • You really need to Excel with Excel to succeed in the role and be comfortable in presenting technical data at board level. 
  • Allied to your data analysis experience, you must also have a background in running PM, planning plant shutdown activity and CAPEX related projects, alongside managing and mentoring a multi-disciplined maintenance team within a complex manufacturing, process or production environment.
  • Academically ideally you will hold a Degree within an engineering discipline, however consideration will be given to suitably experienced candidates that are qualified to an HND standard.
