Due to a retirement my client is looking for an electrically bias maintenance engineer to join them at their site in Shropshire. My client is well established and one of the first in the UK to do it and still going strong 160 years later.
My client is looking for a maintenance engineer to join them as a day shift engineer and you will be responsible for all plant and equipment. This role will suit someone who is used to working within a heavy engineering environment.
Maintenance Engineer Benefits:
- Salary £40,000.

Maintenance Engineer Duties:
- Monday – Friday (08:00 – 17:00).
- Maintain plant and equipment.
- Planned and preventive maintenance on production kit.
- Keep maintenance records.
- Fault find and repair, interoperating electrical diagrams.
- Order essential spares for stock.
- Keep downtime to a minimum.
Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
- Electrically qualified.
- Mechanical abilities.
- Overhead gantry cranes.
- Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Must be able to work at heights.
