I’m working with an established manufacturing company whose products are sold globally, and they have a requirement for an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety Officer.  This is a role where you will enjoy a substantial amount of autonomy, and one where you can make a real mark.  

Benefits and Salary for an Environmental, Health and Safety Officer:

Essential Criteria for an Environmental, Health and Safety Officer:

  • IOSH / NEBOSH
  • Previous experience being a Environmental, Health and Safety Officer.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.

Ideal Criteria for an Environmental, Health and Safety Officer:

  • ISO 14001 auditor.
  • Experienced with Kaizan continuous improvement techniques.
  • Engineering / Manufacturing background.

Key Performance Measures for an Environmental, Health and Safety Officer:

  • Manage accidents and near miss reports.
  • Ensure a reduction in RIDDOR reportable accidents to zero.
  • Continual ISO14001 compliance.
  • Utilise waste monitoring / control and reduce waste.
  • Make sure rules, policies and procedures are compliant with environmental health and safety legislation.
  • Implement energy saving improvements.
