MULTI SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

I am recruiting for a very exciting opportunity for a client based currently near Winchester. We are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer who wishes to develop in to a Supervisory / Management role to align with the planned site move in 2024. Opportunities like this do not come up often, so this is an extremely sensational role. The site will operate by a fully integrated control system to maximise efficiency, delivering to a customer base across southern England & Wales.

The benefits package for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer role include:

  • Salary £40k + OT. 
  • Future Supervisory candidate will probably work core 8-hour day including breaks, between 7am & 5pm (to be agreed locally as required to meet business needs). There will be requirement to cover shifts to support the team for holidays or sickness,
  • Some weekend work will be required for planned maintenance. The site will normally run approx. 4 out of 8 bank holidays.
  • Overtime pay is at x1.5, Bank Holidays & Sundays x2.0
  • Employer Pension contribution at 4% Salary (employee 5%)
  • Life insurance at 2 x salary
  • 24 days holiday p.a.
  • The Supervisory rate will increase when the transfer toto the new site is triggered, c£45k on current rate+ bonus.
  • Relocation package will be available if the qualification criteria are met. If the individual is located nearer the new site area an alternative package will be available to support travel to Winchester.

We are looking for a dynamic person who has a good Engineering background along with a good understanding of H&S compliance and currently in a Maintenance Engineer role. 

The key areas for focus at the new site will be:

  • The daily management of maintenance activities through own employees and third-party contractors. 
  • Ensure the whole site is maintained in a safe and secure manner.
  • Manage Safety systems to ensure compliance to regulator standards across the site
  • Manage & run the CMMS.
  • Identify improvement opportunities to improve plant performance & efficiency along with driving 5S standards across the site.

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

Another brilliant opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join an expanding fleet of engineers for a company based near Telford. My client is a specialist in all types of engineering. 

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be required to install, commission and service CNC machines, Presses and Saws. You will also be attending breakdowns and providing a planned maintenance service for clients across the UK. This role will require you to travel and occasionally stop overnight.

MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

I am looking to recruit a Maintenance Electrician role for a leading global organisation within the Manufacturing sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a team to provide breakdown cover and maintain machinery and Automation equipment.

The shifts for the Maintenance Electrician role are 4 on 4 off days and nights 6-6.

  • Salary £39,268

  • To provide shift breakdown cover on all machines, automation equipment and any ancillary equipment.

  • To support and implement progressive improvements of our existing manufacturing automation processes working with both internal and external resources

  • Experience in programming and operating 3, 4, & 5 axis CNC machines CMM programmes and will ideally hold a time served apprecticeship.

  • Previous experience of large machining.
