Duties of Senior Sourcing Buyer

  • Working closely with the Purchasing Manger on the rollout of global sourcing strategies for commodities, and show an understanding of current and future demands
  • Supplier improvement and cost reduction opportunities
  • Ensure supply of purchased material
  • Identify supply chain risks
  • Supplier relationship management activities
  • Identify cost improvement opportunities
  • Manage supplier contracts and lead contract negotiation
  • Conduct supplier analysis

Requirement of Senior Sourcing Buyer

  • Degree level or equivalent experience in Procurement and Sourcing
  • You will have previous buying experience gained from within a manufacturing environment
  • Strategic and tactical procurement experience 
  • Contract management and an understanding of contractual law
  • A curious, creative problem solver
  • Strong negotiator
  • Excel, Word and Powerpoint knowledge
  • A strong self-starter

  • Excellent hands on negotiation skills and experience of supplier audit and quotation analysis.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practice would also be advantageous.

WAREHOUSE OPERATIVES

We are looking to recruit a large number of warehouse operatives for our client who is based in Bidford -upon-Avon – this is an immediate start after a paid induction

This is a 12 week ‘temp to perm’ role

WAREHOUSE CONTROLLER

We are urgently looking for an experienced Warehouse Controller to join a CNC machining company based in Redditch. If you are immediately available and looking for a new role as an exciting Warehouse role - this is the role for you.

The Warehouse Controller role will require you to:

  • Pick and pack engineered parts
  • Experience of progress chasing
  • Will be required to undertake pressure washing of machined components
  • Work with drawings and specifications
  • Able to understand the manufacturing process
  • Ideally the Warehouse Controller will have the following background or experience:
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • A current FLT counterbalance license
  • Full UK driving license (must be over 25 due to insurance) 
  • Driving a long wheel based transit type vehicle

Salary and Hours 

  • Up to £11:50 per hour, dependant on experience
  • Monday – Friday – 7am to 4pm

REQUIREMENT OF THE PROCESS ENGINEER

  • Ideally Degree educated, however equivalent experience is readily considered
  • You will have experience gained form within a manufacturing environment
  • Equipment specification and process optimisation knowledge
  • Assembly, vacuum / thermo forming, general industrial machinery / tooling, setting experience and FMEA
  • Microsoft office
  • A friendly disposition
