As the Import Export Coordinator your duties will include: 

  • To Enter import and export data into company software for HMRC for EU and non-EU countries 
  • To Ensure all documentation (Import and Export)  is compliant with local and international legal requirements
  • To Complete all documentation for sea, air and road freight 
  • To liaise with customs agents, shipping companies and Global Trade Compliance 
  • To Manage commodity codes and ECCN 
  • To update internal departments on compliance requirement updates 
  • To manage internal and external audits for Import and Export compliance purposes
  • To communicate with customs brokers and hauliers over delivery of products

  • Must have previous experience as an Import Export Coordinator or very similar
  • You must also possess an excellent working knowledge of Import and Export documentation such as: EUR1, ATR, ATA carnet 
  • A strong knowledge of Air, Sea and road freight is essential
  • Good IT skills are essential, previous experience on an ERP or MRP system would be advantageous 
  • A strong attention to detail is required
  • Excellent Communication skills – verbally and written 
  • Confident  and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 

Previous experience in an Import / Export role such as air freight coordinator / road freight coordinator / sea freight coordinator /  import and export compliance manager / import coordinator / export coordinator would all be considered

Duties of the Production Manager

  • Excellent understanding of all the associated departments that allow a modern production facility to operate effectively (Procurement, Supply Chain, Stock Management, Quality and Planning)
  • A formal qualification in Manufacturing or similar 
  • Excellent people management and communication skills 
  • Experience of the delivery of multiple bespoke products through Production or Manufacturing, strongly desired.
  • Experience of producing products in either of the Aerospace, Automotive, Retail, Marine or Consumer Goods sectors would be preferred.

DUTIES OF THE QUALITY ENGINEER

  • Monitor customer quality concerns 
  • Identify and close out repetitive concerns
  • Create action plans to improve performance.
  • Discuss / negotiate specific concern boundary 
  • Analyses customer returns, concerns and defects found in the production.
  • Perform Capability Studies and Parts and Process Audits.
  • PPAP preparation – documentation and presentation.
  • Perform Gage Studies (Gage R&R, Bias, Linearity and Stability) 
  • Ensure that continuous improvement is made in all production MEQ quality deliverables 
  • Ensure that customer and internally identified quality issues are resolved using problem solving methods e.g. 8D Report,

  • Relevant experience within Quality Engineering
  • A high standard of education is required
  • You will have gained your experience from within a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Good training in Quality disciplines such as PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans and SPC

The Sales and Purchasing Co-ordinator role is a really varied, exciting position, it’s a mix of Sales, Purchasing, Material Management and potentially Production Planning!

  • In the role of Maintenance Electrician, you will be carrying out reactive and preventative Electrical maintenance on plant and equipment including CNC machinery.
  • You will also be involved in continuous improvements and PPMs.
  • You will be joining an existing team working rotating 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm shifts Monday – Friday 

Maintenance Electrician Skills and Qualifications

  • To be considered for the role of Maintenance Electrician you will need to hold an Electrical Engineering qualification and will ideally be apprentice trained. You will also ideally hold 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations.
  • This position requires you to have experience of Electrical Maintenance in a manufacturing or production environment and you will ideally have experience of fault finding on PLC controls. Experience of CNC machinery would also be of benefit.
  • I would be keen to talk with Engineers who hold previous experience within similar roles such as Electrical Engineers or Multi skilled Maintenance Engineers who hold an Electrical bias.
