PRESS SETTER - PERMANENT NIGHTS

We are a highly successful manufacturing facility located in the vibrant Birmingham area, and we're on the hunt for skilled Press Setters to join our dynamic team. Experienced and Team leader level experience ideal

DUTIES OF PRESS SETTER

  • Setting large Transfer and progression presses
  • Training and mentoring others
  • Safety checks on equipment
  • Quality checks
  • Driving SMED activity
  • Running / loading material and tools
  • Escalation of issues
  • Involvement in tooling trials
  • Completing complex tool changes
  • Deputising for Team Leader

REQUIREMENTS OF PRESS SETTER

  • It is essential that you have relevant Press Setting experience. 
  • For Senior level / Team Leader, - Supervisory experience 
  • To have worked in a continuous improvement environment
  • This would suit an energetic, ambitious and motivated individual.
