Job Description

We are looking for a customer facing Quality Engineer to strengthen the Quality team and help to continue to drive this business forward.  This is a busy manufacturing Company, with further predicted growth anticipated for next year.

You will be joining a friendly Quality team, in a well- established business, who are going from strength to strength.

DUTIES

  • Deal with customer and supplier issues
  • Regular customer liaison and site visits as and when required
  • Attend APQP meetings on new projects
  • R&R Studies
  • Warranty and field analysis reviews
  • Uphold the ISO14001 and IATF 16949 standards
  • Generate internal operator instructions
  • Ensure customer problem resolution
  • Capability studies
  • PFMEA’s
  • Manage the coordination of supplier parts through quarantine

REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant Quality Engineering experience gained from within a high- volume manufacturing environment
  • To be able to demonstrate a good understanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001
  • Strong customer facing skills
  • APQP and Control Plan knowledge
  • Strong IT skills

DUTIES:

The Technical Sales Manager’s responsibilities will include:
