Are you an experienced Professional in the Material planning and Logistics industry looking to join a business that is bucking the current trend?

In this role you will be responsible for controlling a supplier portfolio to ensure that materials are delivered on time in full managing all data and communication between the plant and Supplier

DUTIES

  • Using MRP / SAP to ensure optimised material requirements planning is achieved.
  • Maintain and issue supplier Schedules 
  • Control of supplier requirements and ensuring that ordering and delivery is in line with supplier lead times and payment terms.
  • Working with Production to understand exceptional material requirements translating into material delivery plans. 
  • Liaise with MP&L Logistics Analyst regarding material requirements and timed changes to minimise scrap and obsolescence costs. 
  • Control of delivery notes.
  • Control of Supplier packaging levels and regular reporting of stock levels and damage container control to minimise financial impact.
  • Provide comprehensive efficient logistics support to all areas of the business 
  • Work with projects and purchasing to support change control and new product introduction.
  • Liaise with the third party and Supplier transport companies 
  • Control of SAP master data for allocated portfolio to ensure stock optimization delivery of Supplier requirements and business objectives. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong IT skills
  • MRP skills, preferably SAP
  • Excellent experience of Material Planning from within a fast- paced manufacturing background would be beneficial
  • Superb analytical skills
  • Essential – outstanding communication skills

DUTIES OF THE QUALITY ENGINEER

  • Monitor customer quality concerns

  • Perform Capability Studies and Parts and Process Audits.
  • PPAP preparation – documentation and presentation.
  • Perform Gage Studies (Gage R&R, Bias, Linearity and Stability) 
  • Ensure that continuous improvement is made in all production MEQ quality deliverables 
  • Ensure that customer and internally identified quality issues are resolved using problem solving methods e.g. 8D Report, 
  • Ensure that all quality activities are performed according to BOS, IATF 16949, and ISO 9000, ISO 14001 etc.
  • Support the continuous improvements
  • Identify and use the appropriate statistical tools.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE QUALITY ENGINEER

  • Relevant experience within Quality Engineering
  • A high standard of education is required
  • You will have gained your experience from within a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Good training in Quality disciplines such as PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans and SPC
  • Must hold a driving licence

Product Development Engineer Requirements:

  • Strong experience working in the engineering industry as a product development engineer or similar, ideally 5 years plus.

  • A background in design and development of new products with experience in non-ferrous metals and metal forming processes.
  • Exposure of design original concept to the design and development of new products.
  • Experience of full product life cycle design including project management.
  • Good experience and competence with 3D CAD
  • Knowledge of FEA stress analysis and FEA simulation software.

Duties of the Production Manager

  • Experience of producing products in either of the Aerospace, Automotive, Retail, Marine or Consumer Goods sectors would be preferred.

  • In the role of Maintenance Electrician, you will be carrying out reactive and preventative Electrical maintenance on plant and equipment including CNC machinery.
  • You will also be involved in continuous improvements and PPMs.
  • You will be joining an existing team working rotating 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm shifts Monday – Friday 

Maintenance Electrician Skills and Qualifications

  • To be considered for the role of Maintenance Electrician you will need to hold an Electrical Engineering qualification and will ideally be apprentice trained. You will also ideally hold 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations.
  • This position requires you to have experience of Electrical Maintenance in a manufacturing or production environment and you will ideally have experience of fault finding on PLC controls. Experience of CNC machinery would also be of benefit.
  • I would be keen to talk with Engineers who hold previous experience within similar roles such as Electrical Engineers or Multi skilled Maintenance Engineers who hold an Electrical bias.
