PROCESS/ PROJECT ENGINEER REQUIRED!!!
A Process/Project Engineer is required to join the NPI team in a Queens Award winning engineering and manufacturing business, supplying into multiple sectors including Plumbing, Telecommunications, Medical, Aerospace, Pharmaceuticals and Renewables.
They have navigated the pandemic with major focus on R&D and emerging market opportunities, they are now enjoying a rapid growth phase. An exciting, dynamic flexible working environment is offered to ensure they deliver their vision.
A combination of technical and commercial awareness is required for the role of Process / Project Engineer and as their Process / Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing projects from conception to completion.

DUTIES OF THE PROCESS / PROJECT ENGINEER
- Responsibility for all engineering and technical disciplines relating to Projects
- Schedule, forecast, plan, resource and manage all technical issues
- Ensuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion
- Coordinate all project elements including engineering design, quality planning, manufacturing, and installation
- This is a key role in the commissioning and final buy-off phases
- Ensure projects are within budget
- Identify new manufacturing methods
- Review engineering deliverables
- Coordinate tooling and equipment modifications and improvements
- Participate in DFMEA and robustness studies
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities
- Lead process improvement activities
- Root cause analysis
- Anticipate project risks
REQUIREMENT OF A PROCESS / PROJECT ENGINEER
- Process / Project engineering experience gained within a manufacturing environment
- Apprentice trained or educated to Degree level
- Project management experience
- Good knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques including Kaizen and Six Sigma
- To be able to demonstrate a good understanding of engineering principles
- Experience in Bill of Material
- Exposure to creating project plans in Microsoft Office
