You will be joining a large Maintenance Engineering team and there are some excellent benefits with position including 33 days holiday, bonus, and company share scheme.

Benefits:

The salary including shift allowance is up £34,000, depending on skills and experience, 25 days holiday +  regular overtime, bonus, and company share scheme.

The Role:

  • In this role of Maintenance Engineer you will be joining an existing Maintenance team undertaking Mechanical maintenance on a range of plant equipment and machinery.
  • You will be work Monday – Friday on alternating 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm shifts, with overtime opportunities at weekends.

The Skills Required:

  • To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer you will need to be mechanically biased, hold a Mechanical Engineering qualification such as C&G or NVQ3 and will be Apprentice trained.
  • You will also ideally hold strong mechanical abilities having worked with Hydraulics and Pneumatics, bearings, conveyors and drives.
  • You will need to have experience of supporting machinery in a Heavy Industry manufacturing environment.

I would be keen to talk with Maintenance or Mechanical Engineers who hold previous experience within similar roles or Multi skilled Maintenance Engineers with strong mechanical abilities.

 

The Company:

We are seeking a qualified Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join an existing team maintaining machinery in a Heavy Manufacturing environment based close to Dudley and West Bromwich.

The Role:

  • In this Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer role you will join a team working a 3 shift rota alternating Mon - Fri 6am-2pm/2pm - 10pm/ 10pm - 6am where you will be undertaking reactive and preventative maintenance on plant machinery within a Heavy Manufacturing Environment.
  • You will be working on Hydraulics and Pneumatics and ABB robots.

The Skills Required:

  • To be successful in the Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer role you will ideally be Apprentice trained and will need to hold a relevant Engineering qualification and have both Electrical and Mechanical abilities.
  • I would be keen to speak with Engineers who have experience of supporting plant machinery in a Maintenance role within a Manufacturing environment and will ideally have experience of working with ABB Robots.

  • You will be required to support the team in providing “hands off” technical support and FM / CAPEX related project planning, whilst also championing the use of preventative maintenance strategies and a continuous improvement ethos.
  • It is essential that you have supported a maintenance team as either a Maintenance Planner or Maintenance Manager, where you have championed the use of CAFM, CMMS, MTBF & MTTR, alongside having a comprehensive knowledge of collating and critiquing maintenance data utilising Ms Excel.

Duties:

On a daily basis as the sites Maintenance Planning Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and co-ordinating all maintenance activities ensuring adequate resources are available
  • Liaising with the Senior Maintenance Managers for equipment availability
  • Managing and updating the CMMS system
  • Ensuring Risk Assessments/Method Statements are complete
  • Manage maintenance contracts and site inspection plans
  • Provide maintenance records for Quality audits
  • Produce and review weekly and monthly maintenance planning figures and present results
  • Support maintenance team with other activities such as arranging plant specific training

You must also be able to demonstrate significant experience administering a CMMS system and be IT literate.

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will be joining an established Maintenance Engineering team in this Heavy Industry setting to primarily provide Electrical support to PLC run machinery.

Duties:

  • In the role of Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be undertaking both planned and reactive maintenance tasks across the facility that will require you to hold a strong electrical background in addition to mechanical abilities.
  • You will need to demonstrate strong abilities in PLC Controls within Siemens S7, electrical fault finding and repair, modification, circuitry schematics, and electrical drives.

Skills & Experience:

  • You will need to have experience in supporting plant and equipment within a Heavy Industry manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in problem solving on Siemens S7 PLC’s and motor drive systems is essential.
