The Company:

Introduction:

Due to retirement we are seeking to recruit a Facilities Engineer to join our team.

Duties of a Facilities Engineer:

  • Working days, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating a range of support systems for our plant such as HVAC, Steam Systems, Boilers, Gas Turbines, Ventilation  and our Water Treatment Plant.

Requirements of a Facilities Engineer:

  • The role will require you to undertake not only operating, but also undertaking maintenance tasks that will require you to have experience of the above equipment. In addition you will also have experience of managing contractors (including issuing permits).
  • You must have gained your experience within a process plant environment and be apprentice trained and qualified mechanically to a ONC / City & Guilds Part C  or NVQ 3 standard.

Introduction:

We are seeking to recruit a proven Reliability Centred Maintenance Professional to work alongside our Maintenance & Engineering Managers who support our large, complex FM operation located within the Midlands region.

You will be required to support the team in providing “hands off” technical support and FM / CAPEX related project planning, whilst also championing the use of preventative maintenance strategies and a continuous improvement ethos.

It is essential that you have supported a maintenance team as either a Maintenance Planner or Maintenance Manager, where you have championed the use of CMMS, MTBF & MTTR, alongside having a comprehensive knowledge of collating and critiquing maintenance data utilising Ms Excel.

On a daily basis as the sites Maintenance Planning Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and co-ordinating all maintenance activities ensuring adequate resources are available
  • Liaising with the Senior Maintenance Managers for equipment availability
  • Managing and updating the CMMS system
  • Ensuring Risk Assessments/Method Statements are complete
  • Manage maintenance contracts and site inspection plans
  • Provide maintenance records for Quality audits
  • Produce and review weekly and monthly maintenance planning figures and present results
  • Support maintenance team with other activities such as arranging plant specific training

You must also be able to demonstrate significant experience administering a CMMS system and be IT literate.

Duties:

  • In the role of Automation Engineer, you will be undertaking both planned and reactive maintenance tasks across the facility that will require you to hold a strong electrical background in addition to mechanical abilities.
  • You will need to demonstrate strong abilities in PLC Controls within Siemens S7, electrical fault finding and repair, circuitry schematics, and electrical drives.
  • You will also be involved in contributing to continuous improvement processes.
  • You will be working DAYs Mon – Fri with potential overtime at weekends.

Skills & Experience:

  • To be successful in this Automation Engineer role, you will ideally be apprentice trained and will hold a relevant electrical qualification such as HNC or City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering.
  • You will need to have experience in supporting plant and equipment within a Heavy Industry manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience in problem solving and programming on Siemens S7 PLC’s and motor drive systems is essential.
  • I would be keen to speak to Engineers who have previous experience within roles such as Maintenance Electrician, Electrical Engineer, Heavy Industry Electrician, or PLC Programmer/Controls/Automation Engineer.

We are seeking to recruit a Service Engineer to join our team who support our systems across the region.

You must currently hold either a Service Engineering or Plant Maintenance position where you have undertaken planned and reactive maintenance tasks to a range of plastic moulding plant and equipment; however it is imperative that you hold a multi skilled electrically biased ability that extends to holding some experience of supporting Automated or Plc controlled equipment.
