  • You must hold formal electrical qualifications (and ideally be apprentice trained too), with proven experience as a Maintenance Technician of supporting plant and equipment within a manufacturing or production environment.

You must currently hold either a Service Engineering or Plant Maintenance position where you have undertaken planned and reactive maintenance tasks to a range of plastic moulding plant and equipment; however it is imperative that you hold a multi skilled electrically biased ability that extends to holding some experience of supporting Automated or Plc controlled equipment.

Allied to your Service Engineer experience you will ideally be apprentice trained and qualified to NVQ 3 electrically (or equivalent).

Duties:

Duties:

  • You will be responsible for the electrical maintenance team who undertake both planned and reactive maintenance tasks to our specialist plant and equipment.
  • You will be required to manage plant breakdown situations, planned maintenance activity, onsite contractors, critical spares and plan capex plant related projects, whilst also being fully aware of health & safety legislation with a particular focus on having either ATEX or Compex accreditation.

Duties:

The Estimator will be responsible for estimating, formulating quotations via computer automated designs and drawings as well as:

  • Create estimations from such designs and drawings for each component
  • Estimate to what tonnage each press will need to go to
  • Quote which materials are required for each press
  • How long each will take to and how the product will be delivered
  • Work closely with departments and suppliers to provide accurate costings

Skills & Experience:

The successful Estimator will have:

  • A strong background in pressings, welding, fabrication
  • Experience costing, timing and delivery estimating
  • Formula experience based on CAD drawings
  • Knowledge of how to formulate a press

Hours of work are DAYS Mon – Friday 8am - 5pm with occasional overtime available at weekends.

Duties:

  • The role of Maintenance Electrician will involve:
  • To provide maintenance and breakdown Electrical support alongside mechanical fitters/welders.
  • Equipment to be supported will include motors, conveyor systems, hydraulics and pneumatics, and general site electrics.

Requirements:

In return you will be work Days Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm (early Friday finish) and a salary of up £29,000 depending on experience + excellent benefits including a final salary pension.
