This is an opportunity for an experienced DAYS Maintenance Electrician to support machinery in a production setting working Days Monday - Friday based in Wolverhampton.

Duties:

  • In the role of Maintenance Electrician you will be carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance on a variety of production machinery in a robust Engineering environment.
  • You will be joining an existing team working DAY shifts Monday - Friday.

Requirements:

  • To be successful in this Maintenance Electrician role you will need to hold a relevant Electrical Engineering qualification such as City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 and 17th/18th Edition wiring regs.
  • You will need to hold a strong Electrical bias and will ideally have some mechanical abilities.
  • You will need to be able to read electrical drawings and have fault finding abilities with PLC run equipment.
  • You will also need to have experience of undertaking breakdown and preventative maintenance of machinery in a Heavy Industry setting.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support machinery in a production setting working alternating Day and Nights shifts at WEEKENDS based in Wolverhampton.

This is an opportunity for a Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias to join an existing maintenance team within a Heavy Industry setting to undertake preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of machinery. Hours of work are a 3 shift pattern Mon – Friday 6am -2pm,2pm -10pm,10pm – 6am, rotating each week.

Duties:

  • The role of Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer will involve:
  • To provide maintenance and breakdown Electrical support alongside shift fitters. Equipment to be supported will include Electric and Gas Fired furnaces, conveyor systems, overhead cranes, automated packaging systems, hydraulics and pneumatics and general site electrics.
  • The position also involves supporting the preventative maintenance programme and continuous improvement of all areas of the plant.

Requirements:

  • The skills you will need to have to undertake the Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer role are:
  • Experience in a similar maintenance role, ideally within a Heavy Industry production or manufacturing environment.
  • You will ideally have completed an Apprenticeship and/or hold a relevant Electrical qualification ie. City & Guilds and have experience supporting machinery both Mechanically and Electrically.
  • The ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure and have good problem-solving skills.
  • The initiative to work on your own and as part of a team.

Working within an established maintenance team and alongside the Engineering Planning Manager you will be responsible for running the companies CMMS (Computerised Maintenance System) ensuring that all maintenance related activities are logged.

You will also be required to raise and collate paperwork in relation to Risk Assessments, Bills of Materials, Safe Systems of work, alongside managing Engineering Stores.

Ideally you will be from a plant maintenance background and be keen to utilise your maintenance skills within a “hands off” capacity or have previous experience of supporting maintenance related paperwork.

To be successful in your application you must:

  • Have experience of working with Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Have previous experience undertaking the plant maintenance administration.
  • Have experience of performing a logging Engineering Stores Audits       
  • Have Experience of managing teams of contractors undertaking plant related actives during shutdown periods.
  • Be Pc literate.
