You will be given responsibility for co-ordination od all EHS activities on site.

DUTIES

  • Ensure all internal EHS audits are completed
  • Conduct all training activities relating to EHS 
  • Provide technical expertise with all site safety and environmental issues
  • Accident reporting and investigation
  • REQUIREMENTS
  • NEBOSH certificate is highly desirable
  • Relevant Health, Safety and Environmental experience, gained from within manufacturing
  • Exposure to ISO14001 would be beneficial
  • Good standard of IT literacy

The Junior Maintenance Engineer will maximise machinery up time by offering first line maintenance supporting fast moving machinery.

DUTIES:

  • As a Junior Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for running the machine, ensuring smooth running and care of production line equipment across your area.
  • Minimising downtime issues by fault finding and problem solving.
  • Work will be reactive, responding to breakdowns and H&S issues, or planned following preventative maintenance schedules. 
  • Working as part of a team or stand alone will be essential in this varied and challenging role.
  • This role is based Monday – Friday and will be covering alternating 6am – 2pm AM / 2pm – 10pm PM shifts 

REQUIREMENTS:

The successful Junior Maintenance Engineer:

  • Qualified in an Engineering discipline (either Electrical or Mechanical) City & Guilds Level 2 or above.
  • A strong work ethic and an ability to react to pressure situations in the correct manner.
  • Must have a strong understanding of the core principle of machinery fault finding.
  • Some demonstrable experience in a hands on maintenance role and machine minding.

As the Engineering Manager, your duties will include:

  • To Manage and ensure the machinery are kept in good working order by scheduling timely maintenance –  regular and ad-hoc - via management of the various engineering resources.
  • Develop and Maintain TPM schedules to achieve the highest standard of engineering at all times.
  • Work with and educate Production teams and management, in order to reduce machine down time.
  • Work in partnership with the Production & Technical Managers to address any improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and performance manage your team of engineers, to include performance reviews and relevant training/development activities are undertaken. 
  • Control projects from start to finish including sourcing equipment controlling contractor enforcing CDM rules and updating health and safety files. 
  • Ensure all machines are maintained to the highest possible standards.
  • Responsibility for implementing communicating and maintaining a food safety culture as outlined within the FSSC22000. 
  • Ensure that staff are adequately trained and competent in all aspects of Food Safety Management

DUTIES:
