ACCOUNT MANAGER

This is an excellent opportunity for an Account Manager who has strong experience in the Automotive industry. 

  • Starting Salary - £35,000 + DOE

The successful candidate MUST have previous experience as an Account Manager or have done a similar role in the Automotive industry and will be able to demonstrate a successful track record in a customer facing position.

Account Manager Duties:

  • Identifying and supporting new business opportunities
  • Responding to RFQ’s for new models
  • Clarifying specifications and acting as the link between the technical and estimating teams and the customer
  • Determining pricing strategies using internal profitability tools
  • Preparing and submitting quotations
  • Preparing and presenting business proposals
  • Negotiation of pricing agreements for new business

Account Manager Requirements:

  • Ensuring engineering change costs are captured in mass production cost follow activity
  • First point of contact for customer and ownership of customer concerns
  • Continual liaison primarily with OEM Purchasing department
  • Supporting Senior Account Manager in developing. Planning, and executing the sales strategy
  • Ensuring and maintaining records of capital investment, piece price, and tooling recovery
  • Control of customer directed supplier component/raw material pricing

This is an exciting role and suitable for someone who has previously worked as an Account Manager, Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager or Sales Manager in the Automotive industry.

This Account Manager role is commutable from: Birmingham, Rugby, Warwick, Leicester, Coventry, Sutton Coldfield, Solihull, Tamworth, Leamington Spa, Nuneaton
