As the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include:

  • To undertake both planned and reactive maintenance across the plant, which will require you to have experience of supporting a wide range of equipment/machinery
  • To liaise with other departments to ensure suitable parts/ equipment are correct to deliver the mechanical maintenance plan, completing relevant documentation.
  • To ensure you deliver on reliability targets.
  • Investigate stops of plant equipment and report back to your supervisor, advising on course of action required
  • Carryout preventative maintenance inspections and procedures to prevent unplanned stoppages.

I would be very interested in speaking with you if you are/ have:

  • Previous Experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Technician
  • Previous experience in the Construction or Power Sector is preferable
  • Would suit someone from an Armed Forces background too
  • Ideally hold a recognised qualification in Mechanical engineering / Modern Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering
  • You will need to have had experience with very Heavy Plant Machinery

The shifts for the Maintenance Electrician role are Monday – Friday 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am.
