Duties of a Senior Refrigeration Engineer     

You will be required to support our customer base across the wider Midlands region undertaking installation, commissioning and service support to a wide range of industrial refrigeration  / chiller plant and equipment, which is utilised in a wide range of industrial applications. The role will also require you to support our customers in tailoring bespoke support contracts to their specific needs, allied to also providing technical support to junior engineers and the in-house customer support team.  

Requirements of a Senior Refrigeration Engineer     

You must have a proven background as a Senior Refrigeration Engineer, with direct experience of industrial refrigeration and cooling systems which incorporate pumps, fluid dynamics and electrical systems.

Where you have provided not only installation, commissioning service support onsite. But also have experience of providing technical input with both customers and inhouse departments in relation to providing bespoke refrigeration solutions from design through to final customer hand over. 

Allied to your experience you must hold F Gas Category 1 accreditation, alongside formal engineering qualifications and a pretty clean driving license.  

The role is commutable from Birmingham, Burton on Trent, Cannock, Coventry, Lichfield and Sutton Coldfield

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

I am looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a Precision Engineering company. This is a multi-skilled role that will include Maintenance on machinery and facilities both Electrical and Mechanical. 

This is a day’s role with hours either 8am-4.30pm or 10am-6.30pm with a package of:

  • Salary £35,000 depending on experience.

Along with an NVQ Level 3/ ONC/ City & Guilds the ideal candidate/ Maintenance Engineer must have previous experience with Electrical equipment including PLC controls and CNC machinery is desirable. 

The Maintenance Engineer role will include the following:

  • Provide preventive maintenance on all machinery and equipment to ensure effective running.
  • Review TPM schedules to ensure operatives complete in a timely manner and inform Team Leaders of deficiencies
  • Report back to the Maintenance Supervisor & Manager on concerns regarding the operational status of machinery
  • Ensure, through regular checks; the power, lighting, LEV and water systems are maintained.

STOCK CONTROLLER

Key Responsibilities

  • To set up and run a PI plan for warehouse operations to physically count
  • Make sage stock adjustments from submitted counts
  • Investigate and correct stock issues, checking sage/physical stock discrepancies and fill in a summary report
  • Sorting and labelling locations
  • Investigating when ‘Free Stock’ appears and amending sage, completing summary report
  • The Stock Controller should be able to Organise yearly stocktake

Candidate Specification

  • The Stock Controller should demonstrate excellent computer skills
  • Should have a knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • The Stock Controller should have Sage Experience
  • At Least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Attention to detail is essential 

Bill of Material (BOM’s)

  • Analyse BOM to ensure the material is correct.
  • Ensure the times within each process are correct
  • Working with the production team to ensure BOM details are updated to reflect current operations

Press Brake Operator Key Responsibilities

  • Set-up, adjust and prepare press brake (Current machines) Amada, Edwards Pearson.
  • Finding correct tooling/program per set-up.
  • Check the heights of tooling and adjust back stops etc. along with light guards.
  • Set-up and adjustment of material for folding at correct height.
  • Locating programs and adjust tonnage and tooling for each part being formed.
  • Provide feedback to Production Manager all jobs not meeting set-up and/or production standards.
  • Producing folded parts to drawings supplied, measuring with Vernier Caliper, Protractors etc.
  • Other job-related duties as may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position.

Press Brake Operator Specification

  • This person will work well on their own and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • He/she will need to be well driven.
  • The appropriate person must have a keen eye for detail, and ability to read drawings.
  • They must have pride in their work and maintain a tidy safe workspace.
  • Must be reliable, and physically fit.
  • Good mathematical ability and able to use measuring devices such as Vernier callipers and protractors.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced-team environment.
