SENIOR CNC ENGINEER DAYS REQUIRED!!!

Are you a CNC Engineer, looking for a DAY’S ROLE as we have a superb opportunity for an experienced CNC Engineer on DAYS.

You will be joining a well-respected, long- established company, who are experiencing a significant uplift in their orders.and as their CNC Engineer, you will be responsible for set and program CNC Machining centres and also an EDM machine

DUTIES OF THE SENIOR CNC ENGINEER

  • Program and set up Hurco Machining Centres and EDM machines
  • Responsible for day to day running of the CNC Machines
  • Working to CAD drawings
  • Plan the work load with the Toolroom Manager
  • Liaise with the Toolmakers in the toolroom and provide support when needed
  • Report any CNC faults
  • Support production issues within the production CNC machining cell
  • Assist with training of the Operators
  • Support the Robot Engineers
  • Provide support to the Toolroom in the manufacture of new tooling
  • One Hurco runs on Winmax the other is Ulitimax the EDM machine is Fanuc. The cad /cam package is Visi 17.

            
REQUIREMENT OF A SENIOR CNC ENGINEER

  • Ideally, you will be Apprentice trained
  • Experience with CNC Machining centres, Hurco an obvious advantage, however, other CNC experience will be readily considered
  • Fanuc would be helpful, but not essential
  • EDM Machining experience
  • To have the ability to Program
  • Fork- Lift truck license would be advantageous but not essential
  • Lifting and slinging qualifications

  • Minimum 2 year’s, experience in a Health & Safety role gained ideally within a manufacturing, chemical, or food/fmcg environment and will ideally hold  NEBOSH certificate and be IOSH certified.
  • Experience in dealing with regulatory agencies (HSE, Environment Agency, Councils)
  • Understanding and experience of Safety / Environmental Management Systems inc ISO 40001 and ISO 9001
  • A superb communicator (written and verbal) with excellent planning, time management and organisation skills.

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Aluminium Window Fabricators for my client in West Bromwich:

Hours and salary for this Aluminium Window Fabricators role:

  • Salary - £12 to £14 PER HOUR – OVERTIME at X 1.5 – WEEKLY PAID
  • Monday – Friday -  8 – 4.30 with 30 mins for lunch.

  • Experience with AL UK Systems

Essential experience required for this Aluminium Window Fabricators role:

  • Experience in manufacturing Aluminium doors, windows, and curtain wall
  • Someone who can fabricate doors from drawings, cut the bars, fabricate the job, glaze in the glass and have it ready to go.
  • Glazing experience
  • Ability to read drawings and cutting sheets
  • Able to use measuring equipment
  • Ability to use mitre saw
  • Able to work on own initiative, and sometimes tight deadlines
  • Willingness to ‘chip in’ in other areas – as we are a small company

This is an opportunity for an ambitious Design Engineer to join a growing and expanding business. The business is a supplier of quality systems for large engineering projects across a number of sectors. They work on systems within the power generation sector from hydroelectric power stations to critical plant within the nuclear industry. They also create systems to aid flood defence and fail-safe systems to combat the potential effects of natural disasters within cities.

Full product training will be given to the Design Engineer for this role. They design and manufacture complete hydraulic systems using Solidworks including Power Units, actuators and accumulators through to installation, commissioning and servicing.

Design Engineer Package

  • £25,000 - £30,000 dependant skill set and experience
  • 8.00am - 16.30pm Mon-Thurs, 8.00am - 15.30pm Fridays

Design Engineer Specification

  • The Design Engineer will have 3D CAD proficiency in producing quality detailed engineering drawings (Solidworks preferable)
  • HNC or equivalent in engineering is preferred, but isn’t essential
  • Knowledge or Hydraulic or Pneumatic Systems advantageous
  • Mechanical, Production or relevant Engineering background
