A huge opportunity for a maintenance engineer to join a growing team in the West Midlands. My client operates globally in the steel sector with sites all over Europe. They have recently opened a new site and are looking to expand their engineering teams.
My client is looking for an electrically bias maintenance engineer to support plant and equipment on a double day’s shift (earlies and lates).
Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

Maintenance Engineer Duties:
- Double days (earlies and lates).
- Planned and reactive maintenance.
- Implement health and safety on site.
- Project work.
- Involved with site installs.
- Responsible for plant equipment (tube mills, slitting lines, coating lines).
- Implement continuous improvement.
Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
- Electrical apprentice trained.
- 17th / 18th edition qualified.
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment; Ideally heavy manufacturing.
- Siemens S7 knowledge.
- Excellent fault-finding abilities.
- Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
