A huge opportunity for a maintenance engineer to join a growing team in the West Midlands. My client operates globally in the steel sector with sites all over Europe. They have recently opened a new site and are looking to expand their engineering teams. 

My client is looking for an electrically bias maintenance engineer to support plant and equipment on a double day’s shift (earlies and lates).   

Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

  • Salary £45,000

Maintenance Engineer Duties: 

  • Double days (earlies and lates). 
  • Planned and reactive maintenance. 
  • Implement health and safety on site. 
  • Project work. 
  • Involved with site installs. 
  • Responsible for plant equipment (tube mills, slitting lines, coating lines). 
  • Implement continuous improvement. 

Maintenance Engineer Requirements: 

  • Electrical apprentice trained.
  • 17th / 18th edition qualified.  
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment; Ideally heavy manufacturing. 
  • Siemens S7 knowledge. 
  • Excellent fault-finding abilities. 
  • Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
