Duties of a Senior Site Civil Engineer:

As a proven Senior Site Civil Engineer, you will be required to manage the planned and reactive maintenance activities of the site services team, whilst also undertaking statutory inspection for compliance across the facility. 

The role will see you managing a wide range of infrastructure based work such as brickwork, structural concrete, roadways, effluent & storm drains and general facilities maintenance such as carpentry and painting / decorating across our large and ageing facility that will see you not only manage remedial works but also work on new developments on site. 

Requirements of a Senior Site Civil Engineer:

You must hold formal Apprenticeship and be qualified to a minimum of an HNC standard in Civil Engineering or a construction discipline. Linked to a proven background in managing small teams undertaking similar works.

Maintenance Electrician Role Benefits:

Maintenance Electrician Role Description

  • In the role of Maintenance Electrician, you will be carrying out reactive and preventative Electrical maintenance on plant and equipment including CNC machinery.
  • You will also be involved in continuous improvements and PPMs.
  • You will be joining an existing team working rotating 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm shifts Monday – Friday 

Maintenance Electrician Skills and Qualifications

  • To be considered for the role of Maintenance Electrician you will need to hold an Electrical Engineering qualification and will ideally be apprentice trained. You will also ideally hold 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations.
  • This position requires you to have experience of Electrical Maintenance in a manufacturing or production environment and you will ideally have experience of fault finding on PLC controls. Experience of CNC machinery would also be of benefit.
  • I would be keen to talk with Engineers who hold previous experience within similar roles such as Electrical Engineers or Multi skilled Maintenance Engineers who hold an Electrical bias.

Duties of a Contract Maintenance Technician    

As a proven Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be required to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance across our plant, which will require you to have experience of supporting plant and equipment within either a fast paced manufacturing, process or production environment. 

Requirements of a Contract Maintenance Technician    

Ideally you will be apprentice trained but must be qualified either Electrically or Mechanically and have some understanding of Plc Controls but must be multi skilled in your abilities. Maintenance Engineer Role Description

  • In this role you will be carrying out mechanical and electrical planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance across the site.
  • You will be joining an existing Maintenance Team and will be following a DAYS 4on/4off shift pattern over a 7 day rota working 12 hour shifts 6am – 6pm.
  • You will also be required to take part in an out of hours on call rota following your probation period. Additional payments will apply for this should you be called out.
  • This is an integral role to ensure minimal downtime and reduced engineering costs.

Maintenance Engineer Skills and Qualifications

  • Successful candidates will ideally hold a timeserved Apprenticeship and will have both mechanical and electrical engineering aptitude, supported by qualifications. 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations would also be of benefit, but not essential.
  • I would be keen to hear from Maintenance Engineers, Technicians, or Maintenance Electricians who have experience supporting plant machinery within either Logistics/Distribution or food production settings.

Duties of the Production Manager

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of multi-disciplined teams (Production, Procurement, Quality and Stock Control)
  • Create and maintain strong planning and JIT (Just-In-Time) strategies, with a focus on delivery. 
  • Training and ensuring continuous improvements are carried out throughout the entire production facility. 
  • Maintain excellent communication streams and avenues between all relevant departments to ensure effective advanced planning can be achieved and put in place well before capacity levels are met.
  • Delegate team leaders to ensure operational requirements are adhered to and maintained.
  • Liaise and be part of the Senior Management Team and assist in taking the company forward in a positive direction. 

Requirements for the Production Manager position 

  • A proven recent history of managing medium to large size production and manufacturing facilities.
  • Good exposure of working within a fast paced and JIT environment. 
  • Excellent understanding of all the associated departments that allow a modern production facility to operate effectively (Procurement, Supply Chain, Stock Management, Quality and Planning)
  • A formal qualification in Manufacturing or similar 
  • Excellent people management and communication skills 
  • Experience of the delivery of multiple bespoke products through Production or Manufacturing, strongly desired.
  • Experience of producing products in either of the Aerospace, Automotive, Retail, Marine or Consumer Goods sectors would be preferred.
