Project Manager Salary & Benefits:

The role of a Project Manager will involve the following activities:

  • The position will help control major projects and Master Developer schemes, leading to the creation of exceptional places. 
  • Be part of the complete turn-key programme with ownership for the delivery and the long-term management of new physical and social infrastructure projects.
  • Assist in producing serviced land parcels for home builders and commercial operators to allow focus on their key operations. 
  • Support the achievement of agreed financial and non-financial targets with clients and partners. 
  • Leadership of project teams both internally and externally, with open communication and reporting to client teams, key stakeholders and local communities. 
  • Challenge the status quo, ensure quality, and identify operational / value enhancements of schemes.

The right candidate for the Project Manager’s role will be:

  • Degree or formally qualified in Civil or Project Engineering 
  • Held a position of responsibility within a Civil Infrastructure delivery environment (Min 2 years)
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills. 
  • Strong commercial awareness 
  • Strong exposure of working with key stakeholders is a must. 
  • A good background in either Home Building, Road, Drainage, Commercial Building Development and Social Infrastructure projects.

Duties of a Project Manager 

  • As the Senior Project Manager, you will ensure optimised & sustainable use of the company’s Real Estate through management of strategic building & infrastructure projects on behalf of internal stakeholders with delivery on time, to agreed quality and at agreed cost. 
  • You will independently lead multiple projects based on Real Estate Process to provide functional & efficient work environments for the various internal business partners within given targets for cost, quality, time and life-cycle cost. 
  • You will ensure project delivery is achieved at the highest levels of quality using approved systems, processes, tools and methods during the planning, realisation and handover phases, in addition to preparing facilities for optimised operational use of all service processes throughout the life cycle of the facility. 
  • You will be a key player in resolving conflicts with either internal stakeholders or external consultants & construction companies in order for project to meet cost, time and quality targets. 

Requirements 

  • A Formal Qualification (Degree / HND) in Civil, Construction, Building Services or Engineering 
  • Excellent skills in project management and the execution of multiple large projects.
  • Demonstrated ability of high-level stakeholder management exposure.
  • Knowledge of future building standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate between business need and technical requirements.
  • Strong competence in alternative contractual models for project realisation.

We have a position for an experienced Structural Engineer with a strong exposure to Tekla Structures, 3D Modelling, Hand Calculations and Structural Steel Applications.

Their projects vary from small bespoke applications and additions, through to full scale build and the installation of new production and distribution facilities.

Based within the organisation is the Project Design Team, who are responsible for the concept design, planning and design for the build phases of programmes in direct liaison with all other relevant internal and external parties. 

The position is for a Structural Design Engineer to create solutions using 3D CAD Modelling Tools, Hand Calcs and Project Engineering abilities and to ensure a project can be realistically delivered on time, to scope and cost within the pre-agreed lead time of the order.

The ideal applicant will have experience using structural design and analysis software packages such as Tekla Structural Designer or equivalent.  AutoCAD skills and a general familiarity with 3D modelling software such as Tekla Structures / Advance Steel or equivalent would also be preferential. The ability to produce hand calculations and apply logical engineering judgement is also necessary along with an aptitude for solving problems. Strong experience within steelwork design is essential and applicants must also be familiar with the current codes of practice for steelwork design and manufacture.

Structural Design Engineer Requirements:

  • 2 Years Minimum direct Steelwork Industry experience within a 3D CAD remit environment 
  • Good experience of Structural Design using relevant software. 
  • Excellent Project Engineering abilities 
  • Good structural engineering principles  
  • Ability to check and cross reference designs and projects with Hand Calculations.
  • Willingness to travel to customers sites. 
  • Have a good understanding of Steelwork Manufacturing practises

Quality Controller Role Description

  • In this role you will be inspecting the product on arrival to determine the quality of product, document and record findings accurately. 
  • Ensure any problem loads are dealt with in a timely manner and reported to the line Manager.
  • To inspect and supervise the dispatch of the finished product to customers, verifying all product meets the required specifications and labelling requirements prior to dispatch (positive release).
  • To engage in the monitoring of the product throughout its shelf life and report any issues noted to the line Manager.
  • To identify any issues with product performance as soon as they arise.
  • Collate data to produce KPI's on the quality performance of suppliers.

Quality Controller Skills and Qualifications

  • Successful candidates will hold a minimum 2 yr’s experience within Quality Control. 
  • I would be keen to hear from Quality Controllers or Inspectors who have worked with fresh produce or food.
