Duties of the Maintenance Technician:  

As a proven Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician you will be required to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance across our plant, which will require you to have experience of supporting plant and equipment within either a fast-paced manufacturing, process or production environment.

Requirements of the Maintenance Technician

Ideally you will be apprentice trained but must be qualified either Electrically or Mechanically and have some understanding of Plc Controls and Robot applications. However you must be multi skilled in your abilities. Having gained your Maintenance experience from supporting plant and equipment within a fast paced manufacturing, process or production environment.

As the Maintenance Engineer with Mechanical Bias, your duties will include:

  • Respond to and provide an immediate maintenance service.
  • Maintain / Repair plant and equipment (both under a PM schedule and breakdowns)
  • To carry out safety checks of machines, equipment and plant and complete periodic safety records.
  • General daily maintenance of building and facilities, internal and external
  • Design, manufacture and source special purpose jigs, etc when required
  • Oversee contractors when on site
  • Maintain a preventative maintenance/service/inspection schedule
  • Get involved with projects and the installation of new equipment / new layouts
  • Have a strong focus on H&S

I would be very interested in speaking with you if you are/ have:

  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer with Mechanical Bias or a Multi skilled Maintenance Technician with a Mechanical Bias
  • You must have a strong Mechanical background including Hydraulics and Pneumatics
  • Extensive experience with Machine Tools
  • Experience with various types of manual equipment
  • You must hold formal Mechanical Apprenticeship and or be qualified to a minimum of ONC mechanically, with previous experience of supporting plant and equipment within a heavy engineering or process plant environment.

Duties of a Service Engineer:   

You will be required to support our customer base across the wider Midlands region undertaking installation, commissioning an service support to a bespoke plant and equipment, which is utilised in a wide range of manufacturing and production environments. 

Requirements of a Service Engineer: 

You must currently hold either a Service Engineering or Plant Maintenance position where you have undertaken planned and reactive maintenance tasks to a range of plant and equipment; however it is imperative that you hold a multi skilled, electrically biased ability that extends to holding some experience of supporting Automated or Plc controlled equipment. 

Allied to your experience you will ideally be apprentice trained and qualified to NVQ 3 electrically (or equivalent). 

Candidates who in addition have plc or robot training are at an advantage and a relatively clean driving license is also required.

Duties of the Quality Assurance Engineer:

  • Responsible for producing quality specifications 
  • Validation of new or existing processes in conjunction with Process Engineering
  • Investigating and resolving quality issues
  • Identify and implement quality tools, such as Six Sigma and Lean
  • Supporting the internal quality audit function
  • Prepare summary reports for management review
  • Coordinate activities relating to CAPAs / NCRs and SCARs
  • Maintain the Quality Management module
  • Addressing QA issues

Requirements of the Quality Assurance Engineer:

  • Minimum HNC / HND in Engineering or related Quality discipline.
  • Relevant experience in a Quality Assurance role
  • Regulatory affairs experience beneficial but not essential
  • A trained internal auditor
  • Highly preferable if you have knowledge of the medical industry
  • It would be advantageous if you have knowledge of Six Sigma but not essential
  • Must have the ability to be able to work in a clean room environment
