Requirements:

  • Significant experience of managing a number of complex projects at one time
  • Practical knowledge of contracts and the financial management
  • Ideally, you will have gained your experience from within the construction industry, though other industry experience is also considered
  • It would be highly beneficial if you have had exposure the high- quality products
  • Ensure that you are representing the organisation as an approachable, friendly and pro-active organisation
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Strong planning skills, can effectively plan projects
  • A true passion for quality and craftsmanship

Duties:

  • Responsibility for the smooth running of all projects
  • Deliver your own projects as well as projects for your team members
  • Ensure projects are run to cost, quality and timing plans
  • High level of client liaison, to ensure information for production and installation is provided
  • Responsibility for control and administration of the budget and contractual issues with the Projects

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and job operating instruction sheets
  • Previous work experience in an engineering / manufacturing Quality Control function.
  • Be familiar with Fanuc Controls.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS MANUFACTURING ENGINEER:

  • Qualified to Degree level in manufacturing / industrial / production / process engineering with specific emphasis on Lean Manufacturing,
  • Deep understanding of Lean Philosophy and proven track record of implementing Lean tools and techniques i.e. VSM, Kanban, SMED, 5S, Pull, Kaizen, PFEP, Visual Management, PDCA,
  • Excellent analytical skills to identify root causes of problems in a structured and logical way using data and formulate robust solutions.
