NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER - WORK FROM HOME

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales/Account manager, who has experience in the Fire & Security industry 

  • Starting Salary - £40,000 - £50,000 - DOE

As a National Account Manager your role will be to professionally represent the Company’s brand and successfully sell all of the Company’s products and services throughout the United Kingdom, ensuring achievement of an agreed annual sales target. 

DUTIES:

  • To prospect for new customers through personal development, cold calling, canvassing, marketing, referrals, and tender opportunities
  • As a National Account Manager you will attend sales appointments with a view to selling all the Company’s products and services
  • Develop successful national sales opportunities to required level and handover to Major Account Manager
  • Forecast reporting on a weekly basis and an up to date rolling three months forecast
  • Collate appropriate information and ensure all correct documentation is utilised

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Have a good technical and design knowledge of the Fire & Security Industry
  • Be able to produce your own designs, proposals and cost sheets from the systems provided
  • Have a proven track record in a structured target and activity driven sales environment with experience of delivering high financial targets
  • You must be able to create a professional impression at all times with stakeholders both internally & externally and be excellent at building lasting customer relationships
  • Commitment to deliver targets and requirements as expected

DUTIES OF PROJECT ENGINEER

  • Management and delivery of component and system development activities
  • Project planning and delivery of engineering activities
  • Researching initial concepts, engineering costing, Engineering design, Risk analysis, Test planning and Validation, Project planning and on-time Release
  • Electronic laboratory skills
  • Lead the design and development of bespoke components including B.O.M’s and checking CAD data and wiring / pinning drawings
  • Financially evaluate bespoke features for engineering relevant budget costs including Make-Or-Buy, Testing, Engineering Manpower, development materials
  • Risk analysis including DFMEA’s
  • Determine Quality requirements
  • Validate the product to all homologation / Legal regulation requirements
  • Continually improve processes

REQUIREMENT OF THE PROJECT ENGINEER

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent In Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • Product development and validation experience, electrical knowledge essential
  • People management, with coaching and development skills
  • Experience of milestone product development processes / gateway processes
  • A passion for development
  • Connected Apps / cloud-based integration experience would be highly advantageous
