PRE-SALES ENGINEER

This is an excellent opportunity for a Pre-Sales Engineer who has strong experience in the communications industry. 

  • Starting Salary - £38,000 + DOE
  • Hybrid working 
  • 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays 
  • Company bonus based on performance

The successful candidate will need to be Technically minded and have previous experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer in the Telecommunications, IT, Satellite or Maritime industry. Having a track record of working with engineers to support customers would be an advantage

DUTIES:

  • Working alongside the sales team to understand the needs of the customers, capturing and defining the requirements and presenting solutions.
  • Testing and roll out of new products and services into the company’s portfolio
  • Providing excellent through life 3rd line support in support of our Operations team to ensure high customer satisfaction and availability.
  • Able to show excellent customer support skills with the ability to interact with customers both on the phone and in meetings 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree or HND/HNC in Electronics/IT/Telecommunication/related area/CISCO CCNA or above
  • Good knowledge of Satellite Communications (RF/VSAT/GEO/LEO’s) and Mobile Environments (GSM/4G/5G)
  • Good knowledge of IP Networking, switches, routers, firewalls, WANS’/LANs etc
  • Ability to absorb and quickly gain knowledge of the company’s bespoke products and services
  • Ability to be able to achieve SC security clearance
  • At least 5 years hands-on engineering experience

  • Competency with FHC or other hydraulic calculation packages
  • Happy to travel to different parts of the UK at times

SALES MANAGER

This is an excellent opportunity for a Sales Manager who has a background in the Food industry ideally with a knowledge of either Cereal, Confectionary or Food extrusion. 

  • Starting Salary - £40,000 - £50,000 - DOE

The successful candidate MUST have previous experience of working in the Food processing industry and will be able to demonstrate a successful track record in a Sales Manager role. 

DUTIES:

  • As Sales Manager you will establish and develop customer relationships at all organisational levels professionally
  • Prepare and maintain sales reports, forecasts and contact information on a regular basis and in a timely manner
  • To negotiate and secure orders and contracts that are profitable, commercially secure and technically sound
  • Identify and develop Customer Services’ business opportunities with existing and new customers
  • Ability to understand technical matters (products, processes, equipment) to a reasonable level

REQUIREMENTS:

  • To identify and develop opportunities and negotiate sales for the product range and to support the development of the global sales strategy
  • An engineering qualification or relevant experience would be advantageous
  • Comfortable spending approximately up to 40% of your time abroad
  • Ability to understand technical matters (products, processes, equipment) to a reasonable level
  • Fluency in another language would be advantage

INTERNAL SALES ENGINEER

Do you have Technical experience working in the Engineering or Automation sector?

This is an excellent opportunity for an Internal Sales Engineer who can offer technical support and commercial solutions regarding the companies’ products.

As an internal Sales Engineer you will be tasked with providing customers information on automation technology, water treatment, chemical systems plants and electronic sensors. 

DUTIES:

  • To be the first point of contact for technical support for our customers
  • Proactively cross-selling and adding additional value to all sales opportunities in combination with solving customer applications
  • Provide technical solutions and create clear accurate quotations resulting from the customer enquiries
  • As the Internal Sales Engineer you will take ownership of complaints, returns and other issues affecting customer satisfaction
  • Support the sales and marketing team with customer site surveys, presentations exhibitions and seminars

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Educated to technical degree level, or equivalent relevant industry qualification
  • Work experience in the process industries or with instrumentation is advantageous but not essential, as is commercial sales experience
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure and the capacity to work as a member of a team and as an individual
  • Comfortable with a consultative selling approach with questioning technique
  • Have a strong Technical background in either sales or engineering
