A busy manufacturing organisation in the Tamworth area, are looking to hire a Logistics Manager.

This is a superb production facility, they are an International organisation, and as the Logistics Manager, you will hold responsibility for ensuring sufficient parts and materials are available for production.

You will be a key member of the senior management team; your expertise and hard work will be values and rewarded.

Duties:

  • Deliver finished material to customers
  • Customer liaison in respect to delivery performance measures
  • Lead logistics operations
  • Ensuring costs, delivery, safety and delivery performance are met
  • Improve current internal material movements
  • Coach, develop and train
  • Champion improvement initiative

Requirements:

  • Degree qualification or equivalent
  • SAP expertise
  • Relevant Logistics and Material management
  • Gained your experience within an environment that uses lean tools and problem- solving techniques
  • Good commercial awareness
  • High volume manufacturing background
  • Excellent MS Office, Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly motivated
  • Keep cool under pressure!

Duties:

QUALITY ENGINEER

Company:

A PRESTIGIOUS manufacturing organisation in the BIRMINGHAM area are looking for an experienced QUALITY ENGINEER.

This is a night position, Sunday to Thursday.

It is a responsible position, you will be the only Quality Engineer on site on this shift.

This is a high volume traditional manufacturing company, and they champion lean manufacturing techniques.

Duties:

  • Raise and control all internal and customer 8Ds / concerns
  • PPAP submissions
  • Provide support to the 1st off / setter
  • Assist with concerns raised from the manufacturing audits
  • Non-conformance
  • Support audits on the shop floor
  • Reduce internal and external PPM levels
  • Working closely with the shop floor to ensure disciplines and procedures are adhered to
  • Control sample room
  • Working Sunday through to Thursday 10/6am

Requirements:

  • Quality Engineer experience from manufacturing
  • Happy to work nights
  • Good experience with Quality tools, such as SPC and Control plans
  • PPAP experience
  • Being a responsible role, it would suit a committed and loyal person
  • You will be joining an established manufacturing organisation, and you will be supported by a strong management  team.
