Due to continued success with new business and growth, a need for a talented Production Supervisor has arisen to support the Operations Manager.

As the PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR, you will be tasked with ensuing targets are met to hit customer requirements.

This is a high precision engineering company, with an International presence. 

Duties:

  • Responsibility for your team
  • Ensure smooth production
  • Report on warehousing, and production performance
  • Managing receiving, shipping, distribution and supplies of product in your area
  • Ensure production targets are met
  • Pan layout and space requirements
  • Monitor performance metrics
  • Active involvement in continuous improvements
  • Deputise for Operations Manager when required
  • Train, develop and motivate your team
  • Manage Overtime

Requirements:

  • It is essential that you have management experience gained from within a manufacturing environment
  • To have lead and manged teams
  • Previous involvement with continuous improvement activities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic
  • To have worked in a process driven environment
  • The right person will be happy to take complete ownership of areas of responsibility
  • Customer focused approach
  • Good level of IT literacy

This is a high precision engineering company, with an International presence. 

As their CNC SETTER /OPERATOR, you will be responsible for the efficient, productive, safe and secure day to day operation as part of the 5 axis Machine Tools

You may be a skilled CNC OPERATOR / OPERATOR, who also have some part programming abilities.

DUTIES

  • Ensure all raw material and machined parts are handled correctly
  • Set / Operate 3 & 5 Axis machine Tools (Mazatrol)
  • Part programming, if experienced
  • Milling and turning
  • Working with high spec, high value materials
  • Carrying out self-inspection
  • Working 2 shifts, maybe further flexibility on a third shift if required

REQUIREMENTS

  • It is essential that you have CNC Setting / Operating skills
  • If you have any programming / part programming experience, this is beneficial, but not essential
  • Mazak knowledge would be highly desirable
  • CNC Machining and turning would be again, beneficial
  • Flexible to work a 2 shift pattern, maybe 3 if needed

We are searching for an experienced Senior Materials Planner, ideally from within a high volume production environment.

Duties:

  • Maintain 100% availability of all material
  • Track supplier performance
  • Achieve SAP accuracy
  • Maintain material supply concerns
  • Lead the implementation of SAP MRP
  • Maintenance of SAP MRP
  • Introduce visual management tools

  • Educated to A Level , or Degree

Duties:

  • Design and develop new automation and controls systems based on electrical and other engineering principles
  • Software based electrical and controls design using Solid works 2017 electrical
  • Software based 2D CAD design for project
  • Software based PLC and HMI design and commissioning, using Siemens S7 Pro and TIA V13/14/15
  • Motor based commissioning using Siemens starter including PLC integration
  • Software based configurable safety relay design and commissioning
  • Software based safety commissioning using e.g. Sistema
  • Ensure compliance
  • Provide support in pre-sales technical concept and provision of quotations
  • Manage automation and controls project operations and workflow

This is a high precision engineering company, with an International presence. 

As their Saw Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient, productive, safe and secure day to day operation as part of the Saw Team.

DUTIES OF A SAW OPERATOR:

  • Ensure work is performed in accordance with company Quality systems
  • Make sure all saws and equipment is maintained to the highest standards of safety through adherence to daily, weekly maintenance schedules
  • Taking care whilst using machinery and associated lifting and mobile equipment
  • Ensure the saw area is kept clean and tidy
  • Working 3 shift rotation
  • Complete external and internal work orders on time
  • Provide suggestions for improvements that will reduce cost and improve efficiencies
  • Self- inspection of products - using micrometers and verniers
  • Be prepared to upskill into other areas in the department, such as water-jet cutting

REQUIREMENTS OF A SAW OPERATOR:

  • Relevant Operating experience, ideally gained from within using Saws
  • To have gained your experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably tight tolerances
  • To have previous inspection experience
  • Metal cutting knowledge, saws, plates
  • To be able to use measuring equipment, such as verniers and calipers
  • Happy to work 3 shifts, 6/2, 2/10, 10/6
