QUALITY ENGINEER

My client is currently recruiting for a full-time Quality Engineer on a permanent basis; they are a large-scale, long-established manufacturer of industrial equipment in the Shropshire region.

Working hours will be a rotating shift pattern of 6.00am-2.00pm one week and 2.00pm-10.00pm the next.

The ideal Quality Engineer must have:

  • Education to at least a HND level
  • Previous experience in a Quality department role
  • A recognised qualification in Quality or associated subject
  • Knowledge of ISO9001
  • Excellent understanding of engineering drawings and GDT principles
  • Familiarity with quality assurance principles and practices (SPC, FMEA, Poke Yoke, MSA, Process Auditing etc.)
  • The capability to supervise a small team of Quality personnel

Previous experience of working with heat treatment and hardness testing would be advantageous.

QUALITY CONTROL TEAM LEADER

This is an opportunity for you to join a highly successful Manufacturing business based in Wolverhampton as a Quality Control Team Leader. Working alternating AM / PM shifts, Monday to Friday you will monitor and improve the quality of processes and outputs within this well established company.

  • Must have a working knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and processes.
