Maintenance Shift Supervisor Role Description:

  • In the role of Maintenance Shift Supervisor you will be managing a reactive Maintenance team on shift to support plant and equipment in a heavy manufacturing environment.
  • This is a hands on role supporting a range of automated heavy industry equipment and will need to demonstrate experience within Hydraulics, Pneumatics + PLC Controls. 
  • Leading a team, you will ensure that breakdowns are dealt with in a timely manner, with minimal down time.
  • You will also work closely with the Reliability Team regarding areas of concern.

Maintenance Shift Supervisor Skills and Qualifications

  • To be successful in this Maintenance Shift Supervisor role, you will ideally be apprentice trained and will hold a minimum HNC/HND in a relevant Engineering discipline.
  • You will have experience in supporting plant and equipment within a Heavy Industry manufacturing environment, and will ideally have experience of supervising a team of Engineers.
  • I would be keen to speak to Maintenance Supervisors who are multiskilled or are either electrically or mechanically biased.

Mechanical Maintenance Technician Role Description:

Development Technician Duties 

The position will part of the Application Support Team that is tasked to offer immediate face to face and online technical support to key customers. Dealing with technical faults and issues and advising on the best technology and products that would suit best the need of the customer.

  • Some recent relevant industry experience in dealing with Electronic Hardware 
  • Ability to work effectively on their own or part of a project team.
  • Possess good analytical skills and be proficient in Microsoft applications, Word, Excel.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise their workload and meet deadlines.
