This is an opportunity for an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to support machinery in a Manufacturing setting working Permanent Nights shifts based in Telford.

Duties:

  • In the role of Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer you will be carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance on a variety of Manufacturing machinery including extrusion, rewind and assembly equipment.
  • You will be working 12 hours Night shifts as part of a Panama shift pattern 6pm – 6am and this will involve weekend working.

Requirements:

  • To be successful in this Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer role you will need to hold a relevant Electrical Engineering qualification such as City & Guilds or NVQ and will ideally be Apprentice trained. 
  • You will need to have experience of undertaking both Electrical and Mechanical breakdown and preventative maintenance of machinery in a manufacturing or production setting.
  • You will have experience of working with Hydraulics and Pneumatics and have fault finding abilities with PLC run machinery.
  • I would be keen to speak with Maintenance Engineers/Electricians or Technicians who hold the above experience.

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer with to join this market leading manufacturer based in Telford. You will be undertaking repair and planned maintenance on plant machinery.

The Role: 

  • In the role of Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer you will be undertaking both planned and reactive maintenance tasks across the facility that will require you to hold both mechanical and electrical abilities.
  • You will be working a 4 on /4off Continental shift pattern working 12 hr Days and Night shifts.

Requirements:

  • To be considered for this Maintenance  position you will ideally be apprentice trained and will need to demonstrate previous experience within a maintenance role supporting machinery in a manufacturing or similar engineering environment and hold a relevant Engineering qualification eg City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • You will ideally hold an Electrical bias and will have fault finding abilities with PLCs.

This is a DAYS based opportunity working 4 on/4 off for an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading Logistics and Distribution provider to the food industry.

Duties:

  • In the role of Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer you will be carrying out mechanical and electrical planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across the site to ensure equipment is fit for purpose and downtime in kept to a minimum.
  • You will be joining an existing Maintenance Team and will be following a DAYS 4on/4off shift pattern over a 7 day rota working 12 hour shifts 6am – 6pm. You will also be required to take part in an out of hours on call rota. Additional payments are made to be part of this rota/if called out.

Requirements:

  • To be considered for the Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer position you will ideally be Apprentice trained and will hold a relevant Electrical Qualification such as City and Guilds or NVQ level 3.
  • I would be keen to speak with Maintenance Engineers or Maintenance Electricians who have experience supporting plant machinery within either Logistics/Distribution or food production settings.

This position is commutable from Stoke on Trent, Crewe, Telford, Shrewsbury, Wrexham and surrounding areas.

As an Automation Engineer you will be providing electrical diagnostics, repair and improvements to plant, machinery, equipment and site services.

Duties:

In the role of Automation Engineer you will be:

  • Undertaking both planned and reactive Electrical maintenance tasks across the facility that will require you to hold a strong Electrical Maintenance background.
  • Identify and implement Continuous Improvement efficiencies and minimize downtime of plant equipment.
  • Design, development and improvement of automated machine tooling equipment.
  • Support planned Maintenance activity to building and equipment.
  • Raise orders for spare parts, refurbishments and services

Requirements:

Knowledge and Experience required for the Automation Engineer role:

  • You will need to demonstrate programming abilities with OMRON PLCs, electrical fault finding and repair, circuitry schematics, and electrical drives.
  • Successful candidates will need to hold a relevant Electrical Engineering qualification e.g. City & Guilds/ NVQ level 3/HNC or equivalent.
  • To be considered for this position, I would be interested in speaking with Engineers who hold experience within the Machine Tooling Industry, and you will need to have built Automated Equipment in a previous role.
  • You will need to have worked within a high volume manufacturing engineering environment as a Controls Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Electrician or a similar Automation Maintenance role.

In return, the salary for the Automation Engineer position is up to £35,000 depending on skills and experience + a performance related monthly bonus, 31 days holiday p year, Healthcare plan and life assurance, and a heavily subsidized staff canteen. Hours of work are 08.00 – 4.30pm Mon - Thurs + half day on Fri AM.
