The company have recently invested £millions into both their facility and equipment, meaning their capabilities are amongst the very best in the industry. The company offer a wide range of machining services including CNC turning, milling, cutting and bending as well as the associated fabrication and welding skills on site to complete the full solution offering. 

They are seeking a Sales Manager to manage their existing business within their core industries (Medical, Nuclear, Aerospace) but also drive growth in new market segments. There will also be some line management responsibilities associated with this Sales Manager role.

DUTIES:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and growing the existing business within core markets
  • Selling a wide range of technical services, primarily machining and fabrication
  • Identifying and winning opportunities within new growth markets
  • Line management of sales engineering team

REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate for this Sales Manager role will have

  • Several years’ experience within a technical sales role in the precision engineering industry
  • Existing knowledge of both the services offered (machining primarily) and the industries served
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

This role will primarily be office based in Abingdon so you must live within commutable distance.

  • Scientific degree (2:1 or higher)
  • 2+ years in a technical sales role

Additionally the following experience will be highly beneficial:

  • Have sold waterproofing solutions
  • Have sold into the roofing/construction industry

This is a home based role covering the UK, although most business is likely to be in the South and Midlands so candidates will ideally be located in this area.

They are seeking an Internal Sales Engineer to manage their key accounts within their core industries (Medical, Nuclear, Aerospace). The Internal Sales Engineer will be responsible for commercial management of accounts and providing quotes and costings for projects.

 

DUTIES:

The Internal Sales Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Key account management of existing customers
  • Proving quotes and costings on new projects with existing customers
  • Managing the commercial performance of key accounts

 

REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate for this Sales Manager role will have

A manufacturing company in the Oxfordshire area, now have a requirement due to expansion and increased productivity for an experienced CMM Programmer.  This exciting opportunity is working within a busy, Precision Engineering manufacturing organisation that manufacture precision components for a number of industries including Aerospace.

DUTIES OF THE CMM PROGRAMMER

  • This is an integral role where you will lead and implement the transfer of current software to PC-Dmis
  • You will primarily create and modify CMM programmes on PC-Dmis
  • The role is also heavily involved with hand-held Quality inspection.
  • Carry out Product Audits to schedule
  • Provide support to manufacturing areas to ensure CMM equipment is fully operational, and manufacturing are able to conform to the Control Plan
  • Carry out measurement analysis work for various departments as and when required 

REQUIREMENTS FOR CMM PROGRAMMER

  • Experience of work experience in programming CMM programmes
  • Good Knowledge of PC-DMIS
  • Good knowledge of measurement principals including GD+T
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • I would be keen to hear from applicants who have experience within CNC machine shop environments in a precision engineering environment.
