A highly successful, construction manufacturing company who are currently thriving are looking for a new team member to join the Quality Department to report to the Head of Quality, on all matters associated with quality. The necessary training will be provided to ensure that the candidate becomes a proficient Quality Inspector and can work independently in this progressive role. 

The company operates across multiple sectors including, Defence, Retail, Commercial and Education and have remained open and busier than ever during COVID-19. With a growing customer base, the Company is continually looking to exceed Customer expectations whilst doing this both more effectively and more efficiently and require a Quality Inspector to ensure the Quality assurance of all projects/products produced is maintained and achieved.

Roles & Responsibilities for the Quality Inspector:

  • Ensure products meet the necessary quality standards
  • Reporting product conformance
  • Identify areas of improvement and implement measures
  • Ensure quality checking procedures are in place
  • Inspect products referring to Engineer drawings
  • Producing, defect, non-conformance, and any other reports
  • Liaise with other departments on Quality matters

Skills Required:

  • Team player and good lone worker
  • Experience working within the Construction Industry
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to read Construction Drawings **ESSENTIAL**
  • Experience working with sub-contractors
  • Self-sufficient, self-starter, who can use initiative

Key Roles & Responsibilities for the Quality Systems Co-ordinator:

  • Full documentation of all quality related matter
  • Writing new SOPs and policies for a range of departments
  • To perform internal and external audits (ISO 9001:2015)
  • Manage the non-conformance report process
  • Involvement in ISO training and coaching to existing and new employees
  • Ensuring personal certification is maintained for personnel
  • ISO orientated meetings and reviews
  • Coordinate documentation of quality with technical specifications (including photo evidence)
  • Maintain and update sub-contractors’ quality

Skills Required for the Quality Systems Co-ordinator:

  • Team player and good lone worker, with initiative to work independently 
  • Must have experience working within the Construction Industry
  • Must be experienced working with Quality Management Systems
  • ISO 9001:2015 internal auditor certified
  • Computer literate

We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a Precision Engineering company. This is a multi-skilled role that will include Maintenance on machinery and facilities both Electrical and Mechanical. 

This is a day’s role with a salary of £35,000 depending on experience, 25 days holiday and free parking on site.

Along with an NVQ Level 3/ ONC/ City & Guilds the ideal candidate/ Maintenance Engineer must have previous experience with Electrical equipment including PLC controls and CNC machinery is desirable. 

The Maintenance Engineer role will include the following:

  • Provide preventive maintenance on all machinery and equipment to ensure effective running
  • Review TPM schedules to ensure operatives complete in a timely manner and inform Team Leaders of deficiencies
  • Report back to the Maintenance Supervisor & Manager on concerns regarding the operational status of machinery
  • Ensure, through regular checks; the power, lighting, LEV and water systems are maintained.
