I am recruiting an exceptional opportunity for a proven Maintenance Electrician to join a plant maintenance and reliability team.

As a Maintenance Electrician you will be required to undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks throughout the factory.

The hours for the role are Nights 7pm- 7am, 4-night week and the company are flexible on the days worked.

You must be an Electrically qualified Maintenance Engineer and hold Electrical abilities and some exposure to supporting PLC controls, having gained your experience of supporting plant and equipment within either a Manufacturing, Production or Process environment. We would be keen to talk to Maintenance Engineers that hold an Electrical bias along with experienced Maintenance Electricians.

Planner / Buyer Candidate Specification

  • Minimum of 2 - 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office. (Word, Excel, Outlook), with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Purchasing & Engineering Change experience in an MRP environment
  • Strong ability to assess engineering drawings and proceed to RFQ based on supplier capability, strong negotiating skills, ability to multitask, prioritize work and work closely with other departments.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the procurement field.
  • Be able to take responsibility for resolution of issues.

Planner / Buyer Key Tasks

  • Buying responsibility for designated fabrication vendors to support plant & chamber production.
  • Ensure inventory levels are kept within set targets.

Project Manager Key Responsibilities

  • The Project Manager will support the Estimating dept. to extract and price materials when required.
  • Decide best process route for the items to be fabricated, put times to processes using practical knowledge.

  • The Project Manager will liaise with customers, negotiate and complete tenders to sales. As well as Establish supply chain costs to be included in tenders.
