DUTIES:

  • The Technical Manager will manage the quality team effectively
  • Manage and maintain the HACCP system
  • You will Implement & maintain quality systems and auditing
  • The Technical Manager will be responsible for implementing a food safety culture
  • Point of contact for Trading Standards, EHO, etc and all customer quality queries
  • Approve suppliers and maintain approved suppliers list
  • Control the review process of non-conformance, complaints and develop corrective action plans
  • As Technical Manager To ensure that Factory Personal Hygiene and Food Safety Regulations are enforced.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • The Technical Manager will require a background within Food manufacturing
  • Ideally you will have a strong knowledge and experience of Meats
  • You will have good experience with HACCP and Food Standards
  • Excellent understanding of food safety & quality standards & legislation
  • The chosen candidate will have experience/knowledge of Level 3 HACCP and Level 3 Food Safety.
  • Ideally you will be a qualified Auditor

Are you an experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer? We have the role for you!!

One of our biggest clients is looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their team in order to help aid and sustain the growth of the business.

Duties:

  • As process improvement engineer you will be utilising Lean principles and continuous improvement methodology.
  • In this role you will optimise processes for increased productivity, minimum energy consumption, maximum process efficiency and minimum total system cost.
  • Conduct and model innovative process development experiments, process simulations and report results.
  • As Continuous improvement engineer you will Improve the quality of the product to sustainable levels and drive defects in raw materials, end products and all other inputs to zero.
  • As Continuous Improvement Engineer you will work effectively with other teams

Requirements:

  • Expereince within a manufacturing environment is essential
  • Ideally you will have experience in the Textiles, Chemical or Materials Industry
  • You will nead experience in a previous Continuous or Process improvement role
  • As Continuous Improvement Engineer you will need experience with Lean Tools and Ideally Six Sigma

DUTIES:

  • The Quality Manager will require a background within Food manufacturing
  • Food safety Training to level 3 (minimum)
  • HACCP training to level 3 (minimum)
  • As Quality Manager you will be a qualified Internal auditor.
  • You will have some Continuous Improvement skills.
  • Ability to communicate on a professional level with customers and suppliers.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Manage, coach and motivate the QC team to achieve planned objectives.
  • Ensure that raw material, intermediate and finished products adhere to specification.
  • Assure the HACCP plan and product testing procedures are adhered to.
  • As Quality Manager you will collate information to non-conforming product and raw materials. Risk assess and determine final disposition of non-conforming goods.
  • Develop and collate corrective action detail derived from site and relevant external processes and ensure that these are communicated and closed out in an effective and timely manner.
  • Monitor and review housekeeping, hygiene and GMP practices to ensure that standards are achieved and improved upon.
  • Provide a point of contact for quality issues relevant to the manufacturing area both for internal and external parties.
  • Promote and drive 5S and GMP, drive RCA, and other continuous improvement tools to identify areas for improvement and establish targets to ensure that the productive capability of the plant is optimised and improved for the needs of the business.
  • Develop and manage agreed projects and ensure completion to time and budget, ensuring minimal disruption to the production units.

They have a highly advanced tool room which receives a lot of investment to support the other sites worldwide. They have an extremely high retention rate in the tool room making this a very stable and secure job.

DUTIES:

  • New tooling and maintenance of existing tooling
  • As a Toolmaker you will be able to maximise machine capacity
  • Using standard Tool room equipment
  • Look for continuous improvements
  • Carry out own inspection on tooling
  • Be part of an experience toolmaker team

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Apprentice trained or experienced Toolmaker
  • Familiar with a range of standard Tool room equipment
  • Grinding experience would be a beneficial but is not a must
  • The ability to read engineering drawings
  • Experience with EDM/Wire Erosion would be a huge benefit
