Duties of a Project Manager 

  • As the Senior Project Manager, you will ensure optimised & sustainable use of the company’s Real Estate through management of strategic building & infrastructure projects on behalf of internal stakeholders with delivery on time, to agreed quality and at agreed cost. 
  • You will independently lead multiple projects based on Real Estate Process to provide functional & efficient work environments for the various internal business partners within given targets for cost, quality, time and life-cycle cost. 
  • You will ensure project delivery is achieved at the highest levels of quality using approved systems, processes, tools and methods during the planning, realisation and handover phases, in addition to preparing facilities for optimised operational use of all service processes throughout the life cycle of the facility. 
  • You will be a key player in resolving conflicts with either internal stakeholders or external consultants & construction companies in order for project to meet cost, time and quality targets. 

Requirements 

  • A Formal Qualification (Degree / HND) in Civil, Construction, Building Services or Engineering 
  • Excellent skills in project management and the execution of multiple large projects.
  • Demonstrated ability of high-level stakeholder management exposure.
  • Knowledge of future building standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate between business need and technical requirements.
  • Strong competence in alternative contractual models for project realisation. 
  • Willingness to travel on a regular basis.

2D & 3D CAD Design to create P&ID’s and 3D Visualisations will play a big part of role, along with working out complex engineering solutions to ensure, Pump, Hydraulics, Waste Management, Platform and Dust and Fume Extractions Systems can be built to the bespoke needs of each individual project, 

A good working knowledge of HAZOP’s, ATEX and H&S procedures and ratings within a Chemical Process Production environment is essential, along with the latest safety standards relating to working on-site and in hazardous environments. 

The right candidate for the role of Project Engineer will have the following:

  • A formal engineering qualification in either Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (HND /Degree) 
  • Strong 2D & 3D Cad skills (AutoCAD / Inventor or similar) 
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience of machinery and equipment site installation 
  • A minimum of 1 years recent experience of working in a Chemical Process Production environment 
  • A good understanding of ATEX and HAZAOP’s Ratings and Standards

The Role

A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Product Development Engineer within the Research and Development Department providing life-cycle support of existing products across clients range of products. 

This position would suit someone who is currently in a Product Development Engineer role, a Product Engineer, Design Engineer or possibly even a Draughtsman.

Product Development Engineer Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • The Product Development Engineer will be evaluating and implementing design change requests related to the full range of products. 
  • Preparing, maintaining and revision control of 3D CAD models, drawings and BOM’s using SolidWorks and Keytech PLM software, including the updating and correcting of CAD modelling errors in legacy SolidWorks Drawings, Parts and Assemblies.
  • Re-drawing legacy AutoCAD designs in SolidWorks and providing CAD draughting support to Research and Development Engineers.
  • Working closely with and supporting other departments (Production, Production Engineering, Purchasing, Quality) and suppliers to improve existing designs with respect to design for manufacture and assembly.
  • Provide assistance to other departments and suppliers to help solve technical problems during manufacture and assembly.
  • Oversee validation testing required during the design change process and summarise results in a technical report.
  • Provide input to new product development based on experience of existing products. Performance of other tasks as detailed by the Product Development Manager and/or the R&D Manager.

Product Development Engineer Key Skills Required:

  • HNC, HND or Degree in Mechanical and / or Production Engineering (ideally).
  • A minimum of 5 years practical experience in 3D CAD is essential, preferably using SolidWorks.
  • Experience in PLM Systems and document revision control.
  • Familiar with the principles of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience in a product development and product manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of special materials such as austenitic and Duplex stainless steels, hastelloy, titanium, tantalum etc. would be an advantage.
  • Ideally knowledge of permanent joining methods such as welding, brazing, adhesive bonding etc and knowledge of manufacturing processes such as casting, injection moulding, machining, fabrication, forming etc.

  • Locating programs and adjust tonnage and tooling for each part being formed.

We are urgently looking for an experienced Warehouse Controller to join a CNC machining company based in Redditch. If you are immediately available and looking for a new role as an exciting Warehouse role - this is the role for you.

The Warehouse Controller role will require you to:

  • Experience of progress chasing
