Key Responsibilities

  • Monday – Thursday, 7:45am to 4:45pm, 2:15pm finish on Fridays

DUTIES

  • Using MRP / SAP to ensure optimised material requirements planning is achieved.
  • Maintain and issue supplier Schedules 
  • Control of supplier requirements and ensuring that ordering and delivery is in line with supplier lead times and payment terms.
  • Working with Production to understand exceptional material requirements translating into material delivery plans. 
  • Liaise with MP&L Logistics Analyst regarding material requirements and timed changes to minimise scrap and obsolescence costs. 
  • Control of delivery notes.
  • Control of Supplier packaging levels and regular reporting of stock levels and damage container control to minimise financial impact.
  • Provide comprehensive efficient logistics support to all areas of the business 
  • Work with projects and purchasing to support change control and new product introduction.
  • Liaise with the third party and Supplier transport companies 
  • Control of SAP master data for allocated portfolio to ensure stock optimization delivery of Supplier requirements and business objectives. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong IT skills
  • MRP skills, preferably SAP
  • Excellent experience of Material Planning from within a fast- paced manufacturing background would be beneficial

Role Function

Reporting to the Head of Commercial, the function of this role is to assist in controlling, monitoring, recording and analysing costs and resources relating to company contracts and enhancing the value of contracts through effective financial control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out contract reviews, conduct valuations and the pricing of variations
  • In conjunction with the Contracts Manager prepare and monitor client accounts, along with conducting measurements and surveying duties on site
  • Carry out cost value reconciliation’s (profit and loss), preparation of contract documents. Check job costings against quoted figures, chase agreement on prices
  • Development of knowledge relevant to contract conditions
  • Chase instructions and ensure we have received written instruction from Project Manager (authority signature). File manual site instructions and keep electronic filing folders
  • Meet with Client (QS) on weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis as project requires
  • Ensure applications are completed on time with Contracts Manager and are issued to commercial. Agree final account with Contracts Manager
  • Liaise with other subcontractors employed by the Company and negotiate with the client and members of the professional team. Calculate accounts and actively negotiate final accounts and payments

I am recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Night Shift Maintenance Engineer to join a company within the heavy Industry on a Monday-Friday 20.00pm-05.00am. You will drive the engineering team in line with Engineering Manager & Supervisor and pursue daily engineering issues that affect production and plant availability.

  • Take responsibility for day-to-day engineering functions

  • Respond to reactive breakdowns in a timely manner to minimise downtime
  • Ensure shift handovers and reports are completed effectively and communicated daily to the Management team.

Ideally hold a Mechanical engineering qualification NVQ Level 3 minimum for the role of Maintenance Engineer. Be process minded with experience within an industrial maintenance role utilising CMMS. Previous experience particularly with heavy plant and conveyors.
