Technical Sales Engineer Duties:

  • You will need to liaise and build good relationships with the company’s suppliers to get a solid understanding of product information to ensure the correct offers are made
  • Daily preparing of project designs, quotations and drawings.
  • Occasionally processing sales and purchase orders
  • Supporting the development of quotation tools for production of quick and accurate quotations and designs

Technical Sales Engineer  Requirements:

  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and in particular underfloor heating would be a distinct advantage 
  • Background in Design and Estimating would also be beneficial although training will be provided for this
  • Happy to work across all parts of the business 
  • Must have a background in either Under Floor Heating, Building Services or Hybrid Heating Systems’

  • A formal qualification / Degree in a relevant science or Engineering disciplines.

What we are looking for in a Software Engineer

  • A formal qualification in engineering, or a science-based subject (Ideally Software or Electronic Engineering related)
  • Good industry experience in a similar role within an embedded system product development environment 
  • Good experience of programming using C, C++, C# and assembly languages 
  • Experience working with Autosar Base Software, Rte and SWC configuration

Duties of a Senior Hardware Engineer

  • Testing of the design once created in hardware.

Senior Hardware Engineer Requirements

  • Ideally Degree-qualified in (Electrical and Electronic Engineering). 
  • Good Experience of semiconductor technologies (up to 1200V). 
  • Good exposure of Power Conversion; Converter and Inverter (up to 300kW). 
  • Experience working with Infineon / NXP microprocessors (or similar). 
  • Experience with Altium Designer. 
  • Experience in the use of model-based development tools including Matlab, Simulink. 
  • Experience in the use of electrical simulation tools; Simetrix, Simplis, Spice, etc. 
  • Knowledge of applicable ISO standards. 
  • Ideally some knowledge of designing for safety critical systems. 
  • Ideally some knowledge of EMC best practice design.
