The Role:

  • Undertake structural design on a wide variety of civil and structural projects within the commercial, residential care, industrial and education sectors on projects up to £15 million in value

Person Specification:

  • You will be chartered or approaching chartership status through IStructE or ICE and have a minimum of 7 years post graduate experience
  • Have design experience and structural analysis skills in all common structural materials including steel, concrete, timber and masonry
  • Proficient in relevant engineering design software
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be able to manage your own workload to meet client requirements and project timeframes and supervise project engineers/technicians accordingly
  • Confidently represent the company at meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and contractors
  • A positive team member
  • Able to write accurate reports and project documentation
  • Have a full driving licence and own transport

  • Competent user of 3D Solid Modelling CAD, ideally Pro-Engineer / Creo Parametric and familiarity with Product Data Management (PDM) systems
  • Good technical expertise in mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • A good understanding of the various applications that the equipment can operate in along with an appreciation for the expected performance of the machines.
  • Creativity and innovative thinking
  • Experience with Oracle TMS a plus
  • Good English communication skill, both written and spoken;
  • Good Presentation and interpersonal skills.

Salary:

  • £27,000 - £32,000 (negotiable)

The Role:

Client is looking for an experienced CAD / Revit Technician to join their growing development team, using CAD / Revit software to create detailed technical drawings in 2D and 3D models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by architects and designers and make modifications to existing drawings
  • Use a variety of CAD / Autodesk Revit software programmes to create designs in 2D and 3D models
  • Liaise with architects, engineers and designers to understand their design requirements and provide technical advice to manufacturing and construction technicians
  • Provide accurate, detailed and to scale drawings
  • Ensure drawings are compliant with industry and health and safety standards and protocols
  • Calculate costs and apply knowledge of materials and engineering principles to check feasibility of manufacture and construction of the product
  • Conduct site visits and surveys when required

The Role:

Our client is looking to recruit a presales technical support & CAD operator to join their busy projects team. They are an established market leading manufacturer and distributor, based in North West Leicestershire. The successful individual will be responsible for liaising with trade customers, architects and main contractors.

The successful individual will ideally be an experienced technical based CAD Operator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offering pre-sales technical support to customers phone calls and emails supporting all of their products
  • Generating and issuing CAD drawings as required to support their trade customers
  • Issuing CAD sections to architects to assist in their drawings
  • Issuing product drawing layouts and chasing for approvals
  • Occasionally attending client meetings off site to support their area sales team (pool car will be provided)

Person Specification:

  • A good level of AutoCAD 2D experience is essential
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, able to work alone and also as a team
  • A strong, clear communicator both verbally and electronically
  • Organised yet flexible with an ability to adapt to changes in workload
