MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

I am recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician on behalf of a company who has spent a lot of money in investment for the next few years. The role of Maintenance Electrician will be to manage the maintenance and improve all fixed plant and facilities; assist in the preventative maintenance to ensure maximum availability, performance, and quality.

The shifts are 5 on 5 off, 4on 4 off, so work 14 days in a 28-day period and a package of:

Along with an NVQ Level 3/ ONC/ City & Guilds the ideal Maintenance Electrician must have previous experience with industrial Electrical kit. 

The Maintenance Electrician role will include the following:

  • To maintain the plant so as to produce product at world class levels of performance, quality and cost
  • To maintain the plant through breakdown repair and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives on site to help improve the OEE of the plants.

  • Monitoring of parts cost pricing and reporting variations to ensure correct sales pricing.
  • Monitoring and reporting of workshop area training, tools, and equipment requirements.

MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

Skill requirements will be to assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures and P.L.C.’s, P.C.’s and robots (A.B.B.) using hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments. MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

The role requires you to work a Monday – Friday alternating AM/PM (8-4 / 4-12 shift).

  • Strong Electrical abilities are key to this role, including Electrical fault finding, testing, parts replacement and experience with PLCs. Mechanically, you will have experience with hydraulics and pneumatics and will ideally have some welding /fabrication abilities.

  • Good experience of Configuration management Tools (e.g., MKS) 
  • Experience of systems design methodologies
