Any CAD experience would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
The Workshop Engineer will develop & design the first installation kit for each of the company product ranges for new vehicles in order that these can be replicated for future orders. The business is built around supplying dedicated installation kits in order that all of their products can be installed on a mobile basis or in a workshop.
This is a hands-on role with the expectations to create your own designs after a comprehensive induction process to get a complete understating of all of the different products and the way the company works.
Designs must be processed to the highest standard possible balancing “ease of install” with “manufacturing repeatability” in all cases.
