As the Quality Inspector, you will preform inspections and checks on incoming materials, parts, and components.

DUTIES OF A QUALITY INSPECTOR

  • Perform inspections, checks and tests
  • Sampling incoming materials, parts, and components
  • Perform inspections on purchased parts, subassemblies or finished products
  • Rework or rejects
  • Use of inspection equipment Micrometres and Vernier’s etc
  • Working from engineering drawings
  • Document results of all inspections
  • Participate in revision of SOP’s
  • Problem-solving

REQUIREMENTS OF A QUALITY INSPECTOR

  • You will have relevant Quality Inspection experience
  • Gained preferably from a manufacturing industry background
  • To have the ability to read engineering drawings
  • Strong experience of using inspection equipment such as micrometres and verniers 
  • Choice of shift – Days or Double days
  • Extensive Overtime available

DUTIES OF PROJECT QUALITY ENGINEER

  • Manage the development of quality activities
  • Obtain reliable products on time with the required quality
  • Using validated supplies to meet the customer requirements and deadlines
  • Carry out audits to automotive standards
  • PPAP’s and APQP
  • Control Plans definition and execution
  • Management of sub-suppliers
  • Consolidating approval status of purchased materials and components

REQUIREMENTS OF PROJECT QUALITY ENGINEER

  • Quality Engineer experience is essential
  • You will have gained your considerable experience from within a high-volume manufacturer

  • Previous experience of managing sub-suppliers
  • Knowledge of Control Plan definition and execution

QUALITY ENGINEER

My client is currently recruiting for a full-time Quality Engineer on a permanent basis; they are a large-scale, long-established manufacturer of industrial equipment in the Shropshire region.

Working hours will be a rotating shift pattern of 6.00am-2.00pm one week and 2.00pm-10.00pm the next.

MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

3 Shift Rotas - 6am till 2pm / 2pm till 10pm & 10pm till 6am Sunday to Thursday

This Senior Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role is commutable from: Preston, Blackburn, Bolton, Warrington & Wigan
