I am pleased to present a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our modern, forward thinking manufacturing client in Accrington, with a market leading benefit package. 

You will be part of an expanding design team working on projects from cradle to grave.

As a design engineer onsite, you will be working closely with clients to find solution to their engineering problems through new product development. The team you will be joining are proud of both their quality high products and friendly, team-oriented culture.

Design Engineer Role outline:

  • Development of new products.
  • Create design for manufacture.
  • Maintain standards such as ISO 9001.
  • Support client relationships.
  • Work closely with manufacturing to overcome challenges.

Experience:

  • Related mechanical engineering qualification
  • Experience using 3D design software i.e. SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo.
  • Experience as a design engineer within manufacturing environment.
  • Undertake Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
