An opportunity has a risen for Electrical Installation facilities engineer to join a leading Manufacturing organisation who are known worldwide. An opportunity to join an already established Facilities team and to join an organisation that pride themselves on a Friendly working environment. This is an opportunity to join a company who have been Established for over 50 years who continue to grow and offer Stability and development and training. 

This role is commutable from the following locations: Blackburn / Burnley / Preston.

Shift: Days Monday to Thursday 7:30am till 4pm – Friday 7:30am till 12:30pm

Key Requirements for the Electrical facilities Engineer: 

  • Previous experience within a Facilities position 
  • Strong Electrical abilities 
  • Proven experience with both Installation and facilities processes 
  • Knowledge of Electrical Legislation 
  • Familiar with Planned and preventive maintenance.
  • Experience with Maintenance Management systems – CMMs.  
  • Must be Apprentice trained. 
  • Holding your 17th or 18th IEE Wiring regulations. 
  • Qualified to a City & Guilds 2391 Testing and inspection. 
  • UK Driving Licence in essential 
  • IPAF trained – valid Licence.

Key Duties for the Electrical facilities Engineer: 

  • Maintain site building Management system as well as, CCTV, Site Compressors, Heating ventilation air conditioning, Air handling units, Generators, 
  • Fault finding on assets related to site facilities. 
  • Preform planned and preventative maintenance. 
  • Maintain site solar network. 
  • Support on going compliance corrective actions.
  • Assist with installation, set up and commissioning of new production equipment.
